My friend's mum is here for a vacation, so last night, they invited me for dinner. Since they were in Novena, I suggested that we have dinner at Barcelo's. I went with my girlfriend to barcelos to have their grilled chicken. I was feeling kind of hungry so I ordered myself half a chicken with wedges and potato. The chicken was really good, grilled perfectly. It was still tender and juicy on the inside. You can taste a mild tinge of spices that they marinated the chicken with I supposed. the price was rather reasonable. Quite satisfied.

I was in the Novena area with a friend and was thinking what to have for dinner.We were thinking having it at a coffee shop, like chicken rice or whatsoever but looking at the weather, we gave it a miss.Chicken related, we decided to give Barcelos at Square 2 a try. It was empty but we went in anyway.I ordered a chicken wrap with a choice of 1 side, I chose the tasty rice. The rice grains were succulent and fine. The wrap was soft and the amount of chicken and salad inside was generous!

I have been to some other Peri Peri Chicken restaurants before but Barcelos is my prefered Peri Peri Chicken. The one at Novena looks diffrent from the one in Vivo, look like they have changed the look and feel and is doing full table service at Novena.The food was great, reasonable portions and a big menu to select from. They are also delivering now, though the waiting time for deliveries can be long, but it is worth the wait.Cheers
