I'd be doing injustice to this Barcook outlet if I didn't make this disclaimer: The review below is meant for their Yuzu Cream Bun only.This is the only Barcook outlet I swore by when it comes to their buns. I was in the area, attending a workshop at the nearby Park Hotel. So come here to get my favourite bread to ease my cravings. After looking at the available, I ended up buying 3 different buns for $4.20.Mash Potato Nachos ($1.50)I like the way the cheese flows out like lava.SAY Cheese ($1.40)I like this because got big slice of cheese inside. Mmm.Ham and cheese ($1.30)Different from the usual ham and cheese. Unique one.

Soft Cake ($2.20) Soft sponge cake with not too sweet jam as filling.Otah Bun ($1.30)Simple bun with otah filling, topped with onions. The otah is very spicy, beware.Maxi Cheese ($1.40)Used to be my favourite, but the filling inside seems to have reduced alot. No more a chuck of cheese inside.Bolo Pau ($1.20)Tastes normal, top not crispy enough. A bit too plain for me.

Soft cake ($2.20) : Very soft, even the little one likes it. Not too sweet for the kaya filling.Bailey custard ($1.40) : Inside filled with big amount of tasty custard.Nacho cheese ($1.50) : One of my favorite, with the melted cheese flowing on the mashed potato.Hawaiian pizza ($1.60) : One of the best I like this bun is that the hotdog are inside the bun, unlike the usual when the hotdog slices are on top of the bun.

As i wanted to try something new from the usual bun that i always order, this caught my eye as i have never heard of a salted egg yolk bun before and i thought i must try this bun! It costs $1.60 for it and when i bite into it, the salted egg yolk was really fragrant and that there was even egg yolk bits inside it. I think it is quite nice and would definitely buy this again next time. Barcook has other variety of bread that are quite interesting and i would like to try them too.

Bought the mash potato nacho and the maxi cheese bun. The mash potato nacho bun costs $1.50 while the maxi cheese bun costs $1.30. Both of it are my favourite from barcook. The maxi cheese was not too overwhelming and had just the right amount of cheese in it. It is best eaten when it is just out of the oven as the smell of it is really nice. Happen to pass by this bakery shop and saw really long queue outside here and was really curious how good is the taste of their breads. Have gone through the queue for near to twelve minutes and bought a loaf of their wholemeal bread. The packaging looks very trendy and neat and the price is also quite reasonable as well. This is called " Milky Custard " bread! It is in a plastic holder which makes up the shape of the cup. The special point about it is because of the crumps and bits on top of the bread which tasted sweet and savoury. After which when you bite into the bread, it left a soft tingy feel when you pull away from your teeth. It is freshly baked and match them with a cup of tea/ coffee to complete your meal!

It is the Raisin Cream Cheese Bread which they baked alot everyday because it is selling like hot cakes always! There are alot of people who will get 10 at a go and queue up for this bread. It is because it is soft and fluffy bread which contain cream cheese with raisin on the outside and also inside! It tasts really good, which suits for snacking or breakfast which matches tea/coffee!

They always sells yummy bread and they all look so attractive to me that i have a hard time deciding to consume! (:In the end, i chose this because it looks very fluffy as the top is popped up and it looks yummy too!Inside it, it has ham & cheese taste with a little bit of red sweet sauce which tasted unique!It is not very warm which lead to a little dissapointment, however it is still great!

Their signature bread is this 'Raisin Cream Cheese Bread'!They always sell warm bread which i find it important because warm bread will only satisfy the stomach happily and this will make me happy at the same time! Therefore i bought it when it is warm and they freshly made and freshly sell, due to the endless queue! A simple hotdog bun is heavenly delicious because of the warm of the bread. It is also soft and easy to bite, together with the pipping warm hotdog inside, it is really nice to eat. This can be for breakfast but if it is then you have to reach earlier to queue because the bakery shop is famous for it's bake and sell, fresh!

The shop here is quite small but it sells wonderful breads. I would advise you to go early to avoid the lunch hour crowd and to secure the best sellers which is the raisin cream bun and this egg tart! Happened to come across barcook bakery while on the way to hong lim food centre. I saw a few people queuing for it and joined the queue too since I would like to buy their raisin and cheese bun. Tried the nacho cheese with mash potato bun as well, that costs $1.50 but it was rather nice, especially since i am a fan of nacho cheese too.
