Maybe the only restaurant in Singapore that can do hamburgers tasting worst than Macdonalds.... moreover it comes with oily onion rings and industrial French fries.... I wont describe the overcooked tiny and oily meat that came with the burger as it's almost insulting to any decent food...

As we have just finished watching the NDP firework display nearby and we are hungry as we yet to have our dinner, we decide to stop here for a bite as the place is not crowded and it is nearby.We are showed to a table near the bar which is quite windy, helped by the big fan blowing on top of us.Archipelago Summer Ale ($14++/ o.5ltr)Smooth malt flavour with fresh hop varieties added. A refreshing citrusy taste with grapefruit for a hint of bitterness.Although there are also 2 more variety of ale, we decide on this due to the recommendation of the staff. The drink is quite smooth and light in taste.Eton Mess ($10++)Traditional English dessert with a mixture of Summer Berries, Meringue and Sweet CreamWe are surprised that the dessert is served instead of the starter and main course.Wild Wild West ($24)Char Grilled Beef Patty with Crispy Bacon, Egg and Roasted Beetroot topped with Herbed Mayonnaise.This must be one of the most ordered dish in this restaurant as we keep seeing the staff carrying this dish from kitchen.I am quite disappointed with the meat patty as it is difficult to chew with too much veins in the meat and is also too salty.Caesar Salad ($18++)Classic Caesar Salad with Scottish Smoked Salmon and Shaved ParmgianinoThe salad is not bad and have quite a number of slices of salmon.Truffled Fingerling Mashed Potatoes ($10)Suprisingly this dish is the last to arrive and we almost forget about it. Could not smell the truffle oil in the dish, but the taste of truffle oil is pretty oil. The mashed potato is very smooth which I think instant powder version of mashed potatoes is being used here.Overall the food is not bad and arrived quite quickly.

Was getting some errands done and since i was near Esplanade, i decide to drop by Barossa for a beer and some finger food, can rest my legs at the same time! Been here recently for pizza and i had a good impression of the food.Since i was alone, i just opt for garlic fries. Was rather shocked by the portion at first cause i find it kind of small. But luckily it taste good! The garlic powder is rather addictive! Really enhanced the fries taste. No complaints for the beer as it was a welcoming treat for the hot day! Overall food don't diappoint here. Great for pizza lovers! Will be back to explore other food at this restaurant =)P.S : For both visits, i waitied quite long for the bill so if you are in a rush, maybe can request for bill earlier to save some waiting time.

for photos and more reviews, visit http://thelittlemomentsofmylife.blogspot.com (:i headed down to Barossa to check out the one for one promotion (: i believe it's till the end of the year! the most value-for-money if you ask me ^^ they have one, two and three-course set lunches, and if you get just the main course, it's at $10++, which means after the 1-for-1, you pay about $6nett. o.m.g. how affordable is that??!! only slightly more than what you'll pay at the food court opposite school, and you get restaurant food plus an awesome view. i got the blue mussel aglio olio (i think that's the name) which was extremely fragrant, with a generous dash of garlic, just the way i like it ;) the mushrooms fried with it were delicious as well! i found the mussels a little too fishy though :/ i quite liked the gourmet beef burger! (: not sure whether the size is sufficient for a guy, but it looked pretty good to me! and the beef patty was pretty tasty, though i would have liked it to be a little juicier. it came with a generous serving of thick-cut fries as well.overall, i wouldn't say the food is super good, but it's definitely decent, and for the price, what's there to complain about? be prepared for a crowd though! the staff are pretty shorthanded, so you might have to wait a little to get their attention, but other than that, it's a really nice place to chill and enjoy an affordable lunch (:

Dining at the esplanade mall with a nice perfectly cooked slice of beef is really an enjoyment. Love the beef here at barossa which was cooked to medium. The beef was really tender and delicious. The onion rings which were sides to this dish were tasty and aromatic. The beef went well alone or woth the sauce and live that the beef was not too fatty. Great view from the restaurant too.
