I am often attracted to the bright colours used by Baskin-Robbins (BR) and after a day of trekking with my friend, we decided to have some ice-cream to cool ourselves off the hot and humid weather.BR differentiates itself with its wide variety of flavours and sometimes it can be quite an adventure sampling their ice cream flavours.I ordered the King Scoop which comes with 3 small scoops ($8). The flavours I chose were Caramel Truffle, Citrus Twist (lemon and lime) and Blackberry Yoghurt. The latter tastes like the fruitella sweets that used to be quite popular last time. The Caramel Truffle tastes the most expensive out of the three. It is a little bit sweet, I think due to the Caramel. The Citrus Twist is super sour. I taste more of the lime than the lemon. The Blackberry Yoghurt seems to be made of artificial sweetness but it is still quite a nice dessert. Overall I had say the ice cream is great!

There are a lot of ice cream cafe selling green tea ice cream. However, most are just taste like artificial flavourings and colourings.I came across this Baskin Robbins cafe and decided to have a try.Wow, I am surprise the ice cream got green tea leaves inside this ice cream. The ice cream got a rough tongue feel and the green tea macha taste was thick. It tasted some what bitter sweet like drinking real macha tea.

Had twice of their ice cream at the same outlet because this is the nearest to me. This time round I brought my friend along for a sweet treat at Baskin Robbins since we have work hard for our studies for the past 1.5 years and still counting. The total cost is $17 and I can't imagine having just ice cream can cost us that much. But anyway it is a once awhile thing for us.I had a cone wafer while my friend a cup wafer. I went for a single scoop of Gold Medal Ribbon. Awesome. The colour tells it all. Gold and Chocolate in colour. Sweet and creamy. It does just a little cooling effect under such a unpredictable weather. As for my friend, she opt for a 3 scoop (king size), Love Potion, Movie Popcorn and Very Berry Strawberry. Telling from the name, it is so romantic thus it must be triple sweetness for her. I tried from her cup for Movie Popcorn. Alright, it tastes just like those you can find in supermarket, corn ice cream. Very common taste. But no doubt for Love Potion and Very Berry Strawberry because you can't find it outside. My friend likes nuts so her topping is nuts and nothing. Their nuts are crunchy. You can choose the wafer either nutty or sprinkled chocolate. Overall the experience is sweet but not refreshing enough. A little thirsty after that. I think they should provide iced water since they have sit-in area for customers to enjoy on the spot.

I am one of their biggest fans. I tried a few flavors and my favourite has to be Caramel Chocolate Crunch. It is a simple vanilla ice cream that came with chocolate cookie and caramel swirls. The level of sweetness is just right with enough chocolate cookie to give it the texture. The caramel taste is simply delicious too. This is a must try for caramel lovers like me!

I love the ice-cream here because there's such a huge variety of flavours to choose from! Whenever I am here, I am always spoilt for choices. The ice-cream here are mostly on the sweet side though. Sometimes they have promotion where you wear pink and get a free junior scoop with every regular scoop I think. Ice-cream is of good quality and does not melt easily..
