BBQ Chicken is a Korean chain which known for its chicken dishes made with 100% olive oil. Over the years it is has expanded to a number of outlets in Singapore. At Northpoint shopping centre, there is an outlet too. Here it is an open concept restaurant. The restaurant is simply in red and white.Cutlery is served in a box after we are showed to our table. I treated myself to the Mushroom Chicken Steak ($14.90), was able to choose 2 side dishes, I got the mashed potato and fries but there's also colesaw and olive oil to choose from. The large chicken thigh was grilled perfectly and had absorbed all the rich mushroom flavour from the sauce. I love everything about this dish, however, I do feel that it's a bit overpriced and could be cheaper by at least $3-5. Ginseng chicken (can choose 2 sides)The fried batter was really crispy and the chicken was quite tender but I could not really taste the ginseng taste. It was very faint. Personally I do not like ginseng but I decided to be a little more adventurous and was kinda thankful that the ginseng flavour was not overpowering. Overall good! Service was average and the ambience is casual.

Tried out this set of Fish and Chips at BBQ Chicken. Frankly speaking, this set of fish and chips is quite common, nothing special about it. The taste is pretty good when I just started eating, however, I will get a bit sick of eating halfway through the meal. Had the Cream of Mushroom soup which is a add-on from the Daily set meal special. The soup was a bit too milky but still acceptable. This is Jerk (Jamaica Jerk Spice) BBQ Chicken Chop. I likes the marinate of this chicken chop, they uses authentic Korean style barbecue sauce, it is spicy, slightly sweet and quite rich in savory. For the two side dishes, mash potatoes and french fries, I would says I tasted them without any surprises. The texture for the french fried does not taste very nice, perhaps they had over fried it.

sticky sweet. like the bonchon wings! this was a heartier alternative of course. with mash and fries on the side.I like the savoury gravy that comes with the mash. just enough )the marinate for the drumlets was addictive. and definitely finger licking good.the fries however, were just a waste of calories.make a choice for a coleslaw if you want that veggie boost.

Now doesn't this look appetizing?And.It was!Flame grilled to perfection.It was tender, juicy and everything that you could want from a charbroiled chicken order.The order of a fish and chips though,was uninspiring.The batter on the fish was thick and fried to a hard crisp.Too much for fragile teeth. k pop inspired.and actually pretty disruptive to diners.but for this chicken, i'd come again anytime

korean traditional chargrill chicken ($14.80)The chicken steak is very nicely grilled, tender and juicy with some spices.Slightly sweet taste because they use sweet bbq sause to grill the chicken.The mashed potato is quite nice,smooth and soft.The gravy taste nice too.But, the coleslaw will be better if served cold.It is quite worth for the price.But really want to compare,still the aston one more worth.

Really enjoy the chicken drumsticks here as they are very crispy and not too oily. Because this restaurant only uses one hundred percent of olive oil in cooking their dishes, it makes their foods taste even better and also more healthy too. The chicken meat is very juicy and tender. The portion is quite alright and good to serve per adult. Even though it looks sinful, but with the slight healthy content in it, I would still feel quite alright having it.

BBQ Chicken is a Korean western sle restaurant that sells Korean fusioned western cuisine. I have tasted the korean charbroiled steak before and it was nice. So I made my second visit with friends and this time I ordered the cute snack and drink as I was not hungry at all. The cup contains the drink at the bottom, and on top there is the popcorn chicken as snack, the design is really a great snack to bring in for movie, the cinema should have imitate this design XD
