As the food court is very crowded, I decide to buy takeaway at this outlet. It sells a range of BBQ meats from BBQ chicken wings to BBQ pork ribs. I order a pack of char Siew rice for takeaway by a low shout over the counter. Not sure if the staff hears me as she does not reply back. Another older staff comes along and asks for my order and also which type of rice do I prefer. There is a choice of chicken rice or pineapple rice. At BBQ Express, you can get perfect oven roasted pork ribs and chicken at affordable prices! Every bite of the meat, be it pork ribs or chicken wings or chicken steak, it is well marinated, tender and juicy. You can either purchase the meat alone or the bento sets which comes with Pineapple Rice or Chicken Rice, Pork Ribs or Chicken Steak or Chicken Wings and some achar. This outlet is very generous in their serving. The Honey Glazed Chick Steak bento justifies the quality and amount I paid for.

This is the place to go for a quick fix of ready made BBQ chicken or chicken wings or pork ribs. Even though the BBQ items here may be more expensive than other stalls, especially to the BBQ food stall in NTUC fairprice at $8.90 per BBQ chicken, it is definitely worth the price! I have always liked the pineapple rice with the BBQ chicken wing and my favourite item has always been the BBQ pork ribs as they are well marinated and juicy. went down to get some food from ang mo kio hub couple of weeks ago and i bought the honey chicken wings and drumlets from BBQ express. the marinated meat all look so nice from the store so i must buy some to try. i felt the taste was quite nice, the meat was well marinated and roasted till perfection. i also like the choice of either full 3 joint chicken wings or drumlet since not everybody like to eat too much meat.

Last week i was here to ta bao some foodI ordered their honey drumstick for $2.20 The drumstick was well marinated but the meat itself was abit too hard to chewAlso tried their honey wing 1 for $1.40 Is more expensive,but is much nicer & the meat more tenderThey also sell rice set for just $3.50++ which is more worthThey also have pineapple rice,i tried before,not badOverall i rate 6/10

Take away counter that offers nicely roasted delights. Roasted meats are tender and marinate tastes good. Prefers their honey roasted range over the black pepper. Ribs and chicken are equally tender and good. Their rice are not as good as their roasted though. The pineapple rice that I tried does taste right, and the rice had lumped together.

My boy calls this 'Western version of 'Chicken Rice' ;pThe ribs and chicken at BBQ Express are affordable and delicious. One may purchase the meat alone which the price goes by the weight of meat or one may purchase a set meal which comes with rice, chicken or ribs and some achar. This Steak Rice ($3.90) is my boy's favourite. The chicken are glazed with honey and other ingredients which made the skin a little crispy and tender on inside.
