I have performed here before and i must say that this place has set the mood to have a nice ambience and for some purposes as a rebel... i actually had played a metal song but that was a long time ago...I had the waffles with the strawberry cheesecake and some chocolate ice cream costing about $14.90.... Well the service is so-so.. though the service the chicks were there but sometimes they made need a little more service orientation... now this was way back when Ben and Jerries were having auditions for bands...It was one hell of an experience... It was pretty hilarious actually.... looking back during my polytechnic days.

Ben's & Jerry Ice Cream Mix & MatchA spacious, vibrant and energetic place for some nice creamy ice cream!! Ben & Jerry is well known for its seriously crazy funky ice cream names and flavour and somehow from the outlet itself tastes so much nicer than buying a pint off the shelves in supermarkets... I love the cute cows and seats modelled to look like the udders of a cow! Must-tries include chubby hubby and strawberry cheesecake!! Service is ever bubbly and warm....

9 April 2013 is the annual Free Cone Day by Ben & Jerry's. I was there near lunch. The queue was pretty long but manageable. I only waited for 15 minutes to get my free cone. There are a total of 5 flavors : Chocolate Therapy, Strawberry Cheesecake, Maple Tree Hugger, Toffee-Do-Crunch, Lemonade Sorbet. I tried the Toffee-Do-Crunch and fallen in love with it. It is actually the vanilla ice-cream with slabs of chocolate coated toffee crunch in it. It has got an irresistible creamy taste with a pretty well-balanced sweetness. A definite must try for ice cream lovers!

Ben and Jerry's is a well known US brand and popular amongst many Singaporeans. The flavours are always interesting, the servers are always cheerful and the atmosphere is always good. Unfortunately, the price is rather high so such treats are for special occasions. We tried the yoghurt berries and they were somewhat, perhaps 60%, authentic. The waffles were not that freshly baked though and more effort could have gone in. All in all, not bad.

Ben and Jerry's ice creams are rather expensive in my opinion, but once a while I will still patronise it especially if someone is giving a treat. I just tried the chocolate flavour not too long ago, so I choose the coffee flavour this time. Though there are many other flavours that are calling out to me, since I have not really had a good coffee ice cream before, I was hoping Ben & Jerry's version will make me satisfied. The ice cream is creamy, thick and rich in the coffee aroma. There isn't any hint of coffee bitterness at all (which I was hoping there will be) but it is still one of the better coffee ice creams that I had. I would think non coffee lovers can give this a try too.
