New discover to me after I try to buy a pizza bun from Bengawan solo. Normally I will only buy their nonya kuehs which they are good with it, however this time round I have decided to give it a try on their breads. Surprisingly I am quite impressed by their pizza bun. The bun is toasted till the ideal browness and is soft in texture. Generous amount of mixed vegetables, sliced chicken sausages and melted cheese are topped on it. I was feeling hungry and I thought I would just get something from Bengawan Solo. The banana cake caught my eye as it has been really long since I ate banana cakes. They have it per slice, so I just got one for myself to enjoy back at home. It is really better than I expected it to be. I bought this Coffee Cake for me friend to celebrate her birthday. I decided to try this flavor as I tried pandan many time. The decoration of the cake was not very impressive but quite nice overall. The cake have very thick of coffee fragrant and taste good. I can even tasted the coffee flavor, is like drinking a cup of coffee. The cake was light, soft and not dry, easy to swallow. The special coloured essences and coconut cream they used to make these nyonya kuehs are always very fragrant and delicious. Great for tea, gathering, party and special occasions. I got attracted by this cake in the display fridge and bought the entire one home since they are not selling individual pieces. One whole cake can be cut into 8 pieces. The texture of the cake was a little soggy. I can't taste any cheese at all. It tasted more like a soggy sponge cake with a strawberry on top. Overall, i don't think i'll buy it again.…查看更多
