Had came to this restaurant to celebrate my aunty sixty years old birthday. Bought their signature dishes such as the fried longevity noodles and also their begger chicken. Mee sua is very soft and chewy and love those pinkish quail eggs that look really nice and taste delicious. Mee sua gravy is also fragrant and not too salty. THe begger chicken love those deep fried braised chicken skin is very fragrant and also not too oily. The braised gravy is not too oily and super fragrant. Less than $20 per person is quite cheap. Restaurant is spacious and quite cooling. Service is friendly too. 繼續閱讀

Near the MRT station, there is a park called Bottle Tree Park where one can fish, play paintball, and swan paddling. Besides these activities, there is also a seafood restaurant here. This year, we decide to have our annual gathering here. At late afternoon, the place is quite quiet, as most thought it is not open during the Chinese new year season. The restaurant is by the big pond, where one can have a great view of the nature while dining in the open. Besides open air dining, there is also indoor air-con dining in area. The menu is quite limited.Yu Sheng (Raw Fish Salad)The raw fish salad is not bad and I taste of crunchy jellyfish.Fried Longevity Noodles (Large) I am expecting pinkish mee sua, but I am surprised with a ee mee look alike dish. The noodle is well braised and flavourful. The small eggs are dyed to a bright red in colour and look like cherry tomatoes at first glance. Traditional Fried Rice (Large)The simple fried rice is full of wok hei taste, and has lots of Chinese sausage in it. Yummy.Dividing the costs (including a pot of Chinese tea) among nine of us, each of us paid about $12. Overall the food is not bad. The place is quite relaxing too. 繼續閱讀

Went to darling place and was treated to a meal at bottle tree. As we drive there, there was no issue on transport but well might've a little not accessible for those taking public transport. The environment is quiet and a bit of kampong experience but good to experience with the scenery and fishing experience. The taste of the food are alright quite nice especially the fish which was fresh, soft, juicy expect the scallop which was a bit not as fresh. We decided to ask the person and they went to check and change it for us although they claim that was supposed to be the taste. The service is good though we waited for sometime to be seated and enjoy the meal. The place was clean as they tire it up after each customer. The price was reasonable too. 繼續閱讀

My family loves coming here for lunch. It may not be the best place but we love the laidback feel to it. Food wise it is quite okay, nothing over the top.We ordered some of our favourite dishes that day I like the sambal kangkong.. not as oily as some places. Simple comfort food, hotplate toufu with prawns! This sweet and sour fish is too sweet for my liking, it can be better. It even has fruits in it! My all time favourite - Chilli crabs. The size of the crabs here are big! Yummy. 繼續閱讀

http://static1.sg.orstatic.com/UserPhoto/photopending/0/FC/00314919C3C7D5736B9666c.jpgThis is your normal tze char stall which can be found all over Singapore, except, they offer affordable prices for an air-conditioned setting, and no queuing needed! It is also a great place for families because of the prawning pond located right beside this restaurant, which always makes for good pre or post dinner activity. I personally recommend post because it has a bar there as well, so while the kids are having the time of their lives prawning, parents can still enjoy the night with a cold beer. The food was pretty decent, but nothing extremely fancy. I simply enjoy the place because there isn't a long queue or a crowd. The sambal sotong was yummy though, it wasn't too tough or chewy, and their sambal chili was good. I wouldn't recommend the cereal prawns though, or perhaps it was just our luck, but they weren't very fresh. We had much more luck with the barbequed prawns from the pond. 繼續閱讀
