Classic fish & chips $12 the breaded fillet of the white fish was tender and batter was not thick so I could actually bite into the flesh of the fish. The sides were a great addition to the fish too. We ate at buttercake and cream for dinner on 4th Feb 2013 (Monday). Wanting to make an order, we waved to the waitress and she unwillingly came over. This chocolate mousse cake is simply so delicious that almost all my friends also equally agreed that this is delicious and it is also one of the most sellable dessert in this restaurant. The chocolate mousse is very smooth and creamy and the thick chocolate is also very fragrant and not too sweet as well. The presentation was awesome and is great to have it with a cup of hot coffee or tea.

I finally got to visit this place after hearing so much of it. It has both an indoor and alfresco sitting area. Beside being known for its popular desserts, you can enjoy a sumptuous meal here. I really enjoyed the roast chicken thigh and tiramisu. I would definitely come back to try the other desserts on the menu.To get here, alight at Clementi MRT station and walk to the bus stop at exit B. Take bus number 184, 53 or 154 and the restaurant is about 10 minutes away.

Went there with my BF for dinner on a Friday evening. We had their set dinner of :1) Mushroom Soup 2) Dijon Norwegian Salmon (with spinach crepe and sauteed prawns)3) Chocolate Fondue4) Ice Lemon Tea cooler Everything was great ! The soup was creamy and bursting with flavour, salmon/crepe and prawns were fresh and nicely cooked, the chocolate fondue was a good dessert to end the perfect meal! Went with my bf after dinner to try their tiramisu and share. Just had a heavy meal. The staff was rather friendly and provided us with very prompt service. As the kitchen area was an open concept one, we managed to catch a glimpse of the staff doing the various desserts. this is definitely a nice and cosy cafe to chill out on the weekend with some friends. although the cafe is situated among the shop houses, the ambience of this place is still great. food wise may be a little pricey but once in a while the cafe will have some set dinner promotion which is definitely worth the money. my favourite is the chicken cutlet, deep fried to perfection and yet the meat is still juicy inside. the side dishes and desserts are not bad too

Chef recommended dish Chicken & Sausage ($13) consists of a char grilled succulent chicken leg and a jumbo sausage. The chicken is so tender and juicy, and tastes good with the signature mushroom sauce. However, it's a shame that the baked potato still pretty hard.
