I had a great experience at Cafe Wabi Sabi with the Cheesy Beef Hambagu Steak Sando. The beef patty was juicy and flavorful, perfectly complemented by melted cheddar and mozzarella and sweet caramelised onions. Fresh greens and crisp cucumber added a refreshing crunch, and the sauces brought everything together beautifully. I wandered into Wabi Sabi the other day without much of a plan — just needed a break and maybe a decent bite. What I found was better than expected. The place is tucked into Everton Park, quiet and a little hidden. It’s minimalist without trying too hard, and you sort of forget you’re in the middle of the city.I had the pork katsu sando.  Wow! It was thick, golden, and perfectly crisp, with bread so soft it made the whole thing melt in my mouth. Every bite felt like comfort in a bowl. Went to Cafe Wabi Sabi and the place really got that chill Japanese vibe. Very zen one, with wooden furniture and warm lighting, feels like you overseas sia. I ordered the pork katsu sando and the bread super soft, and the pork juicy with that crunchy bite. Also tried the mentai karaage don, shiok ah. Chicken crispy, portion just nice and comes with miso soup and side. Ended with their matcha burnt cheesecake, rich and got that slight bitter taste, not too jelak. Service was friendly, not pushy. Cafe Wabi Sabi is my new go-to for chill vibes and tasty Japanese eats as I'm a person who loves Japanese cuisine to the max. Their pork katsu sando was immaculate, crispy and satisfying, and the mentai karaage donburi hit the spot. The space feels cozy and laid-back, great for catching up or working.
