I'm so hungry so go to cake history to buy something to eat.There quite lots of bun.But i suddenly feel like wan to eat sandwich,so i bought this.This sandwich is just normal.Simple white toast with cheese slices and ham.It is quite tasteless but i still can accept it.This simple sandwich is quite cheap and can make me feel full for awhile,so it is quite worth..

I'm always tempted to buy cakes and bread from this bakery whenever i pass by. This outlet is always packed with customers and all their buns are nicely decorated. Always comes up with new bread where you wont get board of it.I love the chocolate bread, they r not too sweet, soft and moist. Great to enjoy with a cup of coffee or milo. Other than chocolate bread, they have other variety like raisins, wholemeal bread etc...These cute little chiffon caught my attention when i was shopping for bread

The cake history outlet at Toa Payoh HDB Hub, is always bustling with activity, with bakers hassling in and out of the kitchen with trays of freshly baked breads and pastries and crowded of customers going in and out of the store.I decided to get the Japanese cheese bread, which was a flat pancake like bread filled with cheese inside! To my disappointment, the cheese within was not as creamy as i expected and the bread which was supposed to be fairly soft and fluffy was not.

Like the previous reviewer had mentioned, I think this outlet at Toa Payoh has a larger variety of breads than some other outlets that I have been to. I bought this during the after office hours at around 6:30pm. There is quite a queue but luckily it moved quite quickly. The egg pudding bread that I got was quite delicious. The egg pudding is firm but not hard. It is like eating egg tart, but instead of a buttery crust, it is a bread crust. If you love egg tarts, you will love this bread.

passed by this bakery so help mama bought the bread for breakfast. there is also another outlet in clementi but i felt the one in toa payoh seem to have more variety of bread to choose from. i just took some random bread off the shelf and i think bread is a semi wheat bread because it has a more coarse texture but it taste not too bad and is quite soft.

This store is huge! There're rows and rows of pastries. Endless choices! And during mooncakes season, they even have another stall set up outside so there's double the choices of pastries!There are many varieties to choose from. This time I chose the glutinuous "ice" skin mooncakes. I love the mini ones because you can choose many flavours to try and not get sick of them.I had a lotus with yolk and a green tea one. if i am not wrong, this red bean roll bun cost $1.20. it is rather small in size. this bread required handmade skill as the bread is make up of 7 roll shapes. again, i love the white sesame. red bean paste is one of my favourite too. so i would probably grab this bread again when I am hungry =)

sometimes during lunch time,i will come here to buy their bread as lunch I like their bread with eggs & ham mayo it cost about $1.30 their bread is sweet,eggs is well marinated with mayo sauce there's was once i bought it during night time as night time they wan to clear bread,so if buy 4 or 5 bread it's $1 eachas usual i bought the eggs mayo,& it actually turn sour already so is better to buy that during day time,as they keep until night time already not fresh Overall i rate 6/10

I bought this cake for tea on Tuesdays and I love it. The mango cake is very light and fluffy. The cream is very light unlike other cakes and it has the mango taste. The top of the cake is cover with a type of mango jelly. I think it taste like mango pudding? The cake smells very nice. Overall, this cake is very light and it is not too sweet. I could eat the whole piece myself! This cake costs $3.

i was feeling very hungry from my dinner the night before so i pop by at cake history to buy a bun before i headed to work. what caught my eye was the large varieties of nicely decorated buns that cake history sold. i decided to settle for the tuna mayo one, it caught my eye even before i stepped into the shop. it was as yummy as it looked. they even add sweet corns to give it a sweeter taste. it was indeed a fulfilling breakfast!

They have just renovated their outlet and have added a fruit juice and drinks corner too.I like their pandan chiffon cake, it is soft and fluffy, but not dry at all.The chiffon cake has a very nice pandan aroma, and it is good to eat as a tea time snack with your favourite beverage such as tea or coffee. i like mine with ice milo or iced peach tea.

Cake History has an obvious bakery rival in the same area, in fact the two bakeries are just across each other- Breadtalk. However, both bakeries have their own crowd. Cake History is more of the 'Chinese' bakery, I love how the smell of waffles wafts through the air whenever I pass by. They also sell donuts, sandwiches and cakes like madeleine.
