Located at the corner of 27 yong siak street, this shop blend in very well with the surrounding buildings of tiong bahru estate.The shop itself has a mixture of modern coffee shop furnitures and tradictional chinese furnitures. However the new mixed well with the old ajd it actually give me a very relaxed and nostalgic feel.As for the foodwise, I was recommended to have the chicken cutlet rice($6).Well, nothing wow about the curry sauce and the rice.But the chicken cutlet is really good.It is very flavorful and has a tinge of the chinese wu xiang powder taste. On top of that, it is very crispy.However the curry potatoes were a bit undercooked in my opinion. As for the drink, I have chosen the chilled homecooked liang teh($2). Something that impressed me is instead of finding lot of ice in my cup of luo han guo liang teh,it was chilled.Little thing like this impressed me.The liang teh was just right, not too sweet. As for the service, I was warmly greeted when I stepped into the shop.On top of that, my finished plate was quickly cleared away after I finished it.Seriously no complain about this place. On top of that , I highly recommended the chicken cutlet.
