Finally tried Chocolate Origin's lava cake after passing by it so many times. The chocolate syrup and ice cream underneath the lava cake are both not too sweet. The combination of the hot lava cake and cold ice cream is perfect. With quite a petite cup, one will not get sick of eating it.

One of the best if not the best chocolate lava cake I have ever tasted and it is affordable at $5. The portion is quite small but it is really yummy. The vanilla ice-cream beneath was almost tasteless but that's okay because the chocolate sauce and the warm cake were so rich in flavour so it was a good balance. I'll recommend you to try this!

Seats are also available at 313 Somerset basement for you to finish up your late dinner, night snacks It's slightly crowded on weekend nights, if you don't mind, you can share a seat with others. It is really very hard to find people who dislikes chocolate. Chocolate Origin does a fantastic chocolately sundae. The cake on top had molten chocolate within it which was extremely rich and simply oozing out of the cake when I stuck my fork into it. This is how molten chocolate lava cakes should always be. The chocolate itself was high quality and I could definitely taste the cocoa. Excellent!

If you're a big chocolate fan like me, you'll LOVE this Chocolate Lava Cake. The top half consists of a warm sponge cake with oozy liquid chocolate inside. Personally, I would prefer the chocolate to be thicker, richer and darker. But this cup of chocolate is not bad at all! The bottom half is made up of a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The most delicious and unforgettable chocolate cake that I ever had was from Chocolate Origin. Look at how thick the layer of chocolate mousse is as compared to the layer of sponge. This point differentiate Chocolate Origin's cake from the rest of the cake. No need for any fancy designs or decorations yet people will still crave for their chocolate cake.
