Reaching Chomp Chomp place around 6pm, too early to say it was my dinner. Given a chance to the stall, they said Char Kway Teow here was probably the best one in town. Serving up plates of smoky hot stir-fried flat noodles, orders were never ending. There was the good food, there was the crowd. I don’t mind to squeeze at this stuffy hawker for it, smell was really good.No wonder having so many good comments, the plate was eye-catching. Generous egg given was moist enough, seriously delicious. Cannot resist taking a plate of luscious aromatic Char Kway Teow, although I know it was oily. The more sinful it was, the better the taste. Be patient in waiting, it worth the wait. $4.00 per plate, the portion was substantial. 繼續閱讀

What could have gone wrong for a plate of piping hot fried kuey teow mee with extra chili on a rainy night for supper? I like how the fried kuey teow mee is being cooked - still a little moist and not the dry version selling outside. They are quite generous with the portion of ingredients given - from fish cake to cockles to lup cheong to bean sprout! Will be coming back and try the other dish they have - beansprout with cockles! 繼續閱讀

I think that.... this stall is AWESOME!!! Went over to the stall on a Sunday night to meet some of my friends.... After jamming, we headed over to chill at Chomp Chomp... I ordered the Char Kway Teow to share with my friends.I specially asked for extra chili to add in to the spice level...So all in all paid something like $3 for this meal... Quite satisfying and the owners were pretty friendly too.... 繼續閱讀

My usual order whenever i am at this food centre for dinner. The fried kway teow and mee fried nicely with ingredients like fishcake, bean sprouts and cockles, not forgetting a handful of sinful fried pork lards to bring out the flavour. Though there are healthier version of fried kway teow that omit the fried pork lards and replaced it with alot of green but i still want my late of fried kway teow with fried pork lards, a lot of it! The texture of this plate fried kway teow was moist with a distinct wok hei. This is easily one of the better fried kway teow that i ever tried. 繼續閱讀

I was here for an early dinner and most of the stalls were still not ready yet. And so, i decided to have fried kway teow. The kway teow and yellow noodle were fried together with ingredients like sliced fish cake, sliced lup cheong, bean sprouts and veggie. I requested not to have cockles added as my partner is against eating it. The fried kway teow is fried in local style, a sweeter version as compared to the those done in Penang style. A good amount of fried pork lards were added to enhance its overall flavour. This can be a pretty good choice if you are in this food centre and do not know what to eat. 繼續閱讀
