開飯介紹
Savour homespun Italian cuisine at Ciao with its wide range of Italian cocktails, wines and home-cooked dishes. It serves the unique Pizzawich, a sandwich made using pizza dough. Salads, pizzas and pasta are also on the menu. Highlights include Maltag Bolognesi, pasta scraps with Bolognese sauce that has been simmered for three hours; Penne alla vodka, where smoked salmon sits on a bed of penne pasta with vodka and cream sauce.

Full review: http://nkikichua.blogspot.sg/2016/01/ciao-haji-lane-bugis-singapore.htmlCiao@ being the newer kid on the block in Haji Lane, where you can find one of the largest range of quality Italian home-cooked food, cocktails and wines. Ciao@ has made it interesting that instead of whipping out your phones while waiting for your meals, why not flip the menu and engage in a game of Battleship with your friends and family! When it comes to Italian fare, I always go straight to the Pizza/Pizze section. the 4 Stagioni [$20] - an enticing medley of ham, artichoke, black olives and mushrooms sits on the pizza base, the ingredients pulled together by the delectable tomato sauce. Best of four worlds? My taste bud was hooked on Tartufina [$24] - mozzarella with the heavenly truffle paste spread on a pizza base. This is only for those who loves anything truffles. My other favourite is the Stinco Di Maiale Alla Birra [$38] - pork knuckle in beer sauce, served with mashed potato and white cabbage. It’s tender to the extent that the beer-marinated pork knuckle melts in the mouth, the best part is the meat falls off the bone; all you need is a fork for this dish. The mashed potato and white cabbage goes heavenly together with the pork knuckle.查看更多

Ciao@ is a new F&B concept along Haji Lane. A mixed concept, Ciao@ provides a unique experience, bringing to diners the experience of italian food in a bar. The owners pride themselves with whipping up quality homespun italian recipes. What to eat at Ciao@, here's what we had for the night:Fritto Del Piceno A mix of cheese balls fried with veges and chef's surprise. A surprise in every bite. I loved the one with cheese and bacon. Playful and cheeky. Calamari So good. If they could be that consistent, this dish would be one of their top drawer. Pan fired Calamari with pine nuts, cherry tomato and olives. Ciao@ has brought back what squid should taste like, the right texture. Tartufina Classic truffle pizza with lots of mozarella. Simple but satisfying. The crust was a top draw where you can taste that it is freshly made. Focaccia al Rosmarino Italian plain pizza topped with fresh rosemary and garlic. A good side finger food but can be a tad pricey.Stinco Di Maiale Alla Birra 5hands Prolly the best dish of the night IMO. Both the mash and white cabbage were lovely condiments. That pork knuckle, dapped in beer for two whole days - so different from elsewhere. Don't expect a crispy exterior. It's like a mix of chinese meet western, soft yet slick exterior and meat that slides off the bone. Bistecca DI Polipo Grilled Octopus Steak with sauteed spinach. Two slabs of octopus which tasted too much for one to handle. Unique but didn't go down well with my palate. full review @ http://shauneeie.blogspot.sg/2015/10/ciao-haji-lane.html查看更多
