The Taiwan Bubble Tea craze has been over I believed, yet my fancy towards it never diminishing. Interesting name of ComeBuy, it was apparently sounded youthful and common. The kiosk was conveniently situated at Toa Payoh, a stone throw away form MRT. It allowed patrons to choose the degree of sweetness, either regular size or huge.I admitted I am a fussy person when it came to food or beverages, always go for less sugar. Tried their sourly refreshing juice, there was chewy mouthful bubbles inside the cup. Really a great combination, I would say it was chilling wonderful moment to drink it up. I was a little disappointed with my drink, as I was having a slight cough, I decided to be obedient and order the warm version of the pudding milk tea. Normally with ice, the drink gets diluted pretty fast so for warm beverages it would be much sweeter. Despite knowing this, i still went ahead and order 50% sugar level. Surprinsgly, my drink still tasted bland... I was kind of disappointed as I could not taste the fragrance of the tea as well. The only thing that was good is the pudding. I went to Toa Payoh after coming back from camp and i headed to this stall as I had a craving for the chocolate Milk Drink... I cant remember what it was... but i guess that they had a crazy idea... Established in Taiwan... This place offered a better approach by giving the top 10- must try drinks and this was no2 or no 3... costing around 3.80 or so i ordered 1 cup and was in heaven temporarily.... Happened to drop by the ComeBuy bubble tea shop and I decided to order one cup of their bubble tea to drink. Usually I will order the Hokkaido Milk Tea, but this time round I wanted to try something different, hence I get myself the Hokkaido Chocolate with Pearls instead.The Hokkaido Chocolate taste equally awesome as their Hokkaido Milk Tea :) the chocolate was really rich and smooth. Chocolate lovers like me will definitely love it! On top of that, they were really generous with the amount of pearls given :) the pearls were big and chewy but they were a little sticky as some of them stick together as a lump at the bottom of my drink. One day after my part time work I bought a cup of green milk tea from Come Buy bubble tea shop which happened to be near my workplace. The green milk tea was made just nice to my liking as the tea was not too sweet and you could still taste the aromatic green tea. The pearls were also made to my liking as they were very chewy but at the same time not tough at all. Also the price was quite reasonable. Certainly worth coming back for another cup.…查看更多

I was feeling really thirsty so I decided to order a drink from come buy. Their sign board really caught my attention. The shop really did look very presentable. I ordered their normal milk tea. I did not wait long for my drink to be prepared. It turned out to be pretty good. the tea was really smooth and I simply love the milky taste. I ordered 50% sugar, it was just right for me. Today instead of going to KOI which is renowned for its long queue I decided to go to Comebuy which is nearer and faster in term of buying.I tried the Ultimate QQ milk tea and WOW. The milk tea tastes good and it rejuvenated me from my thirst. The bubble is very chewy and the size is decent enough to have a longer time to chew and enjoy the drink. It is my first time trying this new bubble tea shop.I could not decide what to drink so I took up the recommendation from their staff.(udding chocolate was what I ordered.The only thing I like about the drink was the pudding.(:I thought it was not really worth the price of $3 for this drink. The chocolate taste was the artificial kind that tastes quite sweet and too much of it makes me give up drinking it.However I suppose it is not that bad?(:My friend bought the milk tea which was considered quite nice. The whole shop layout is similar to Koi Cafe. Besides having similar layout, they make use of numbering system too. The price range is similar to Koi Cafe.Personally, I will try the milk tea from the bubble tea shop to decide whether to patronize again. So during my first visit to Come Buy, I bought Pearl Milk Tea. I feel the milk tea isn’t as creamy nor milky as Koi Cafe. The milk tea taste rather powdery.After the first visit, I decided to patronize Come Buy again to try the Passion Fruit Black Tea.During my second visit, I ordered Passion Fruit Black Tea with less pearl (70% sugar). From the picture above, it is obvious that the colour of the Passion Fruit Black Tea is so much darker, it looks like those you get from Sweet Talk or Each-a-Cup.The taste of the passion fruit isn’t that strong. Instead, I feel as though I am tasting passion fruit syrup which I usually taste when I don’t shake my Each-a-Cup passion fruit properly.J and I did not finish the drink and discard it. I tried the Oolong tea with pearls at 50% sugar level. The staff was kind and helpful enough to let me know that students get a free upgrade from medium to large cup when they flash their student's pass, which I did.I went back for more a few times after this.Come Buy is actually pretty good. Students also get a free up-size from the regular to large cup when they flash their student pass, I got mine.I had a chocolate milk tea with pearls, 30% sugar level. Dropped by yesterday to "ComeBuy" to buy the bubble green milk tea this time round. Never regret to buy again and try out this green milk tea as the milk was thick and can taste the green tea flavour. I asked for fifty per cent less sugar and less ice. The staff told me that you can tailor make your special cup of milk tea according to one's taste and preference. Not too mention, they gave very generous amount of pearls. This is my second time buying bubble tea from this store. This time round, I tried the Hazelnut milk tea with pearls. Do note that you have to top up for the pearls. I had the medium size drink and requested for less ice and the drink to be at 50% sugar. Although the taste of the hazelnut was not very detectable, I still like their bubble tea because I can really taste the aroma of the tea. This is something which I like. In addition, the texture of the bubble tea was very smooth and easy to drink. As you paid for the pearls, you do get a very generous amount. Happened to pass by Toa Payoh and realised that another new comer " ComeBuy" that sell taiwan bubble tea is now open. Decided to give it a try and ordered the red bubble milk tea with pearls. I quite like the taste of the milk tea which was thick and added with generous amount of pearls. Not too sweet and have the flavour of those milk tea as in Taiwan. Must give it a try.
