Sambal chicken bun

Had some craving for sambal sauce so decided to grab two of these cute looking buns from Crystal Jade bakery. It was surprisingly good. The sambal taste was strong and the chicken filling in the bun itself was extremely generous. The entire bun burst with sambal goodness when I chewed into the fluffy texture of the bun. Really liked it. The cute star at the top was also edible.

I love the BBQ pork bo lo buns from cystal jade as it reminds me of those bo lo buns that I had in Hong Kong. Of course the taste can't compare to those I had in hong kong, but it is good enough. The bun is sweet on the outside with the crispy exterior and it is soft on the inside, where your tastebuds will be in for a treat from the delicious and juicy char siew meat. It tastes best on the day of purchase. Besides the bun, I also got the two glutinous pancakes for my mum who loves them. The pan

Cup Cake

This cup cake from this bakery shop may look really simple and unattractive, but the taste of it is definitely quite tasty and smell good as well. The butter sponge cake used in it is very soft and slightly moist in texture, which is full of the nice fragrant from the generous amount of butter used in making it. THe fresh whip cream goes really well with the sponge cake too.

Tomato Bread

These unique premium bread caught my attention while I was shopping for bread to satisfy my hunger. Was in the mood to try a 'special' flavor which was slightly different from the bread which I always eat.First, it was the color which attracts me. I thought it was carrot bread but after a second look on the description, decided to gave it a try.  First, it was the color which attracts me. I thought it was carrot bread but after a second look on the description, decided to gave it a try. If i'm not wrong, remembered seeing " tomato, seeds, ham, corn, cheese etc...." and really interest in as all ingredients seems healthy to me. Bread base is not sour (i thought tomato would makes it sour) , slightly sweet and texture in fine and moist. Among the loaf was ham slices which are being twirl around, with seeds/grains sandwiches among them. Some black sesame seeds and herbs. Healthy

 1/2 a loaf consist of only 4 slices and cost onli $1.80. I would say it's reasonable since it's premium bread! Great!

flaky egg tarts

I love egg tarts because of the taste of the egg custards - it is somewhat like eating pudding. Therefore, it is no surprise that I got 4 of these egg tarts from Crystal Jade. As the egg tarts are just replenished by the staff, it is still warm. Therefore, I ate one there and then. The crust is so flaky, it is a delight to munch into, and of course not forgetting sinking my teeth into the wobbly egg custard - absolutely divine! I was enjoying it so much, I had to stop myself from devouring the r
