Crystal Jade My Bread (已結業)

Absolutely love crystal jade's char siew paus. They are soft fluffy and absolutely delicious. The pau itself is the split at the top kind which is my favourite. Served hot they are a fantastic snack. The pau skin complements the savoury char siew inside very well! the Char siew is juicy and tasty having the right balance of fat and lean meat for a good mouthfeel!

Had the sausage bun for breakfast the other day and really enjoyed it. Love the flavour and the texture of the bread!! Oh so smooth and the sausage was pretty fresh as well. Love that the cheese was melted over the sausage and the bread!! Love their wide varieties of bread and will definitely be back for more!Love that it was also pretty affordable and not super ex!

I bought two kinds of bun at crystal jade located at changi airport. Big chicken bao and bo luo char siew bao(菠萝叉烧包）The skin of the chicken bao is soft and the filling is very tasty, chunks of chicken meat inside.The bo lo char siew bao taste even better. There is a layer of butter like pastry on top of it, the skin taste like bread but more chewy, the char siew filling is moist.

This is one of the subsudiary of the well-knowned restaurants (CRYSTAL JADE). I love their HK styled buns & pastry. The bo luo pau is nice. It has a few flavours. Some with traditional char-siew filling, plain one, black sesame etc. It has a crispy yellow crust. They also have HK lao puo bing, egg tarts, cute little cupcake for little children. My kid loves their beautiful cupcakes. It has a couple of designs with flowers, rainbows on chocolate toppings. The muffin inside is very soft and spongy

Decided to have a light meal and looking at the options, I decided to go for the swiss roll. The swiss roll tastes like butter cake, with quite little cream in the swiss roll. A sort of healthier choice but as for the taste…it is really nothing great. In a matter of fact, I got bored of it after my second slice.

The char siew su is soft and fresh. The skin is very thin and does not stick to the teeth. The thin skin allows you to taste the sweet char siew filling better else would be eating flour. The skin has a light buttery flavor which is very fragrant. The filling is not fatty and sweet. It is also very generous with the filling.

One of a kind that I have managed to see in local bakeries, the cinnamon sugared donut is a good try for cinnamon lovers. The sugar is not as sweet as Auntie Anne's pretzels, making it less sinful, but smells as good! The dough tastes well knead too.Too bad the donut is not warm, I cannot imagine how much better it will taste like since I have already fallen head over heels for this

This Bakery sells a wide variety of pastries and cakes.My favourite is the Sliced Chocolate Cake. It is only available as slices.I wish that they would sell it as a whole cake, but, so far, they haven't done so.The chocolate cake is moist and soft and full of flavour.That is the one thing I look for when I go into any Crystal Jade Bakery.The service is great and staff are friendly and helpful.
