Bought these 2 breads for breakfast the other day as I was walking pass this stall. I feel that it's a tad unhygienic due to the layout of this place. As the store size is quite small, they had to cram many trays of breads into the transparent shelves. This caused some of the breads to be quite low in the shelf and being fairly near to the human traffic, I felt that it is quite a hazard when taking the bread. Crystal Jade was having their night discount sale of their bread and cakes and i could not resist their black forest cake and because they did not sell slices, so i ended up buying the entire cake. it was pretty cheap with the discount. their black forest cake was very moist and the cake was light and fluffy. i love the chocolate shavings which they decorated the cake with, it kind of melts in your mouth. there were quite a lot of black currents in the cake. it was so good so worth the money. wh

I like the Ma Lai Gau from crystal jade bakery because it is really soft moist and fluffy. The cake is very very light and the texture is smooth and delicious! The taste is also good with a nice underlying sweet tone that is not too overwhelming. Its not oily too which is an added plus. although it is more expensive than regular Ma Lai Gaus it is bigger is size too so its pretty worth it.

Crystal jade my bread is my new favorite bakery. They sell lots of Chinese style pastries that would be hard to find elsewhere. I really like the char siew filled Chinese pie which is absolutely delicious! The pastry crumbles at the slightest pressure and breaks to reveal the most deliciously savory char siew filling. The combination of sweet and salty all in one small package is super super good.

This mini chocolate donuts cost $1.50 before discount but everyday after 8.30pm there will be a 20% off on all the buns!the donuts are covered with chocolate and 3 different kind of nuts (almond, sunflowers seed) donuts are soft and the nuts gave a texture when you are eating it. Everyday at around 8.30pm, you will see a long queue forming at the cashier of crystal jade my bread. The reason for the long queue is because all the buns and bread at having discount. I too joined in the queue and got myself a pork floss bun with egg mayo. This bun is pretty large in size. They were very generous with their pork floss, the only downside is that the egg mayo is a little dried up and the egg is a little hard probably cos they baked it together. But it was pretty satisfying.

This roll of multigrain bread was very fragrant when I took it out of the bag. Great for breakfast, don't even need to put spreads because the bread is fragrant by itself. It contains various types of grains that contribute to the fragrance of it. The bread is also soft although a little tough and the sides and ends.

I got myself a bun from crystal jade my bread for breakfast. This may not be considered as a bun, more like a croissant with fillings. The croissant has two fillings added to it, custard and chocolate. The amount of fillings they added to the croissant is simply a lot. The chocolate they use is really rich in chocolate flavor. it is not too sweet. the custard on the other hand is slightly sweeter. The croissant is very light and crispy. Goes really well with the fillings.

I can never get enough of the pancakes at Crystal Jade My Bread. Each of these cost $1.10, and although it is slightly expensive, but it is very worth it. The filling is quite thick and the outer glutinous rice skin is soft and slightly chewy. The filling for the green tea pancake is custard and the custard taste a little like the egg tart custard just that it is less eggy. The black sesame pancake (the white coloured one) has black sesame filling which is in paste form, and is smooth and sweet.

I surprised my girlfriend with a nice cupcake to reward her for the effort she put into studying. Every time I passed by crystal jade I never notice that they sold cupcake until I saw my sister buying it for her friend’s birthday party. They have two kinds of cupcake, the ones that were just decorated with icing sugar or decoration with coloured fondant. Even though this confectionary shop named themself 'My bread', but they actually sell more than just breads here, which also includes baked pastries and even deep fried chicken wings as well. I enjoyed having their char siew pastries which are baked tilled really nice golden brown and the pastry crust is crispy and not too oily. The char siew meat inside the pastries is very tender, juicy and fragrant. The portion of char siew meat inside the pastries are quite generous so every bites of this

Brought a bread for breakfast. This bread is sprinkle with icing sugar on the top of the bread. There is also some strips pattern on the top with a slight crispy texture. The bread is well made, has a soft texture. In between the bread is filled with peanut cream and the peanut cream has a mild sweetness with a fresh peanut taste. It is quite a unique combination and is different from other bread store. Their signature bread would be the Hong Kong Po Luo Pao which comes in different flavours.

Knowing that my hubby loves the tarts from Crystal Jade, I decided to get for him when I finished my shopping. I got one of the durian tart and one of the portuguese tart so that we can share them. The durian tart is really very authentic with real durian pulp used in the tart. It adds a different texture to the tarts with the smooth durian pulp. The durian is sweet and not bitter. although crystal jade dishes are not that fantastic, their bakery stuff are not that bad. my favourite is the bo luo bao (pineapple bun) but i only like the plain one without any filling. I just feel so weird to have meat inside my bun. the top crust of the bun is always so good that i can always eat two bo luo bao each time! the cream filled bun is also not bad but sometime the cream did not prepare properly so will compromise the taste a little
