More reviews at www.umakemehungry.comAfter going Teban Market Place for so many times, I came to discovered that there is actually a stall in the corner selling Western Food. Food is Halal certified and the stall is managed by chinese guys.Waited about 5 min for my chicken chop and was amazed by the presentation. The chicken chop was already cut up into pieces with sides like fries, coleslaw, baked beans and garlic bread in their respective section on the huge plate. One can choose to have a side of fries or rice and mushroom sauce or black pepper sauce over the chicken chop. Taste from my chicken chop was bland even though mushroom sauce was added, I would prefer a more charred version of chicken chop with a stronger taste from the sauce.Coleslaw on the other hand was light in taste too, lacking of the mayonnaise and creamy punch which I look out for. Fries were dry but the garlic toast complimented it.Overall, I find that the overall taste falls below my expectation. 繼續閱讀

Many of you will know that you can find very cheap and reasonably good food at Teban Gardens Food Centre. I had reviewed previously that a bowl of fishball noodles cost only $2. There is one western food stall "Do & Me" located right at the end of the food centre. I decided to give it a try. I placed my order and then was told to go back to collect my food 5 minutes later. I was pleasantly surprised when I went to collect my fish and chips. My food was presented on a very nice white try, with different partitions for the side dishes such as baked beans and coslaw too! I posted this photo on instagram and many people asked me which hawker centre I got this nice presentation of food from. Although the portion of fish was a bit little, but overall taste and presentation wise was good. Reasonable for $6. 繼續閱讀
