My go-to dish whenever I visit Donguri Restaurant at the Japanese Association. This was two servings and because it was New Year's Day, very little people were there and they had extra food left so we had an extra large portion. Their sashimi freshness defers on different days, sometimes it's really sweet and sometimes the fish smell still lingers. However, still of superior quality and texture. Try their salmon salad because it's worth it and servings are quite generous too! A new item on their menu, the sea salt ice cream is a must try! Not the same as sea-salt caramel which we eat at other restaurants all the time. This is pure sea salt and they only have one tub per day. Ask for it to be reserved once you enter the restaurant if you intend to try it before it's all gone! the day that I went, there was a guy who bought the entire tub to be taken away and they only had a little bit left, probably from the previous day. One of my favourite go-to restaurants whenever my family and I have no idea what to eat because not only do they provide Japanese food, they now have fusion food in their newly-renovated restaurant! Membership required though.

never knew about this restaurant since seldom go to adam road area and first time trying it recently. the nice thing about this place is that other than traditional japanese food, there is some fusion food in the menu. although i am not a fusion person, the food looks very nice on the menu so decided to try some. the chirashi don looked very different from the one that i usually eat but the taste was not bad. we also ordered the sirloin steak with wafu sesame sauce to share and i think it tasted really nice

went down for dinner with my family recently, never knew this place existed till then. the place looks quite nice and homey feel, the menu also looked not bad. we ordered several dishes to share together. the onigiri was not bad, quite nice to eat and was actually quite rare for restaurants to sell onigiri and i quite like it. the karage tamago with curry also tasted not too bad
