*Pris and I passed by Durian Mpire, gaped at their cute durian cakes and mousse, and decided to continue our catching up here. They sell a wide variety of durian cakes, mousse, pies, puffs etc, in many different kinds of shapes and sizes. So we snagged a table and ordered some items to share.First there was the Durian Mousse (SGD$4.30) which came in a really adorable shape of a half of an opened durian. The green shell and yellow flesh were cleverly sculptured, every line so fine. The mousse was

1) Durian cheesecake $4.30: This was something that I never tried before. To me, it tasted  average. This cheesecake had a very distinctive taste of durian while the cheese flavour on the other hand tasted more subtle. 2) Durian empire drink $3.80: The durian taste was quite strong but I felt that it would be better to share this as it may get "gelat" for one person to finish. Overall, worth a try. 

After having passing by Durian Mpire at least thrice a week, I had finally actualized the thought of consuming them!A customer before me had actually purchased a box of this (comes in 2). The durian empire shop is located in the middle of the walkway with seats available. The durian puffs were quite yummy. The amount of durian fillings in each puff was just nice and I could really taste the durian. Real durian fruit was used to create the fillings! It was soft and creamy and very addictive especially since I loved the taste of the puff too so it was a heavenly combination. I can't remember the price but it was well worth the money!

My first time in my whole life trying a durian pudding! It did't taste any special! LOL! It just tasted like the liu lian gao from Malaysia that we usually bring back after the trip, just that the colour is different and was mound into another shape. The amazing durian cake was really nice .. My sister brought a durian cake from mempire it taste really nice...the durian was nice and the cake is soft ..it meant to be shared with family and the portion was just nice ..its about 1 kg $50++ well the price was reasonable as durian cake are always not cheap ..is a must try for durian cake in this store , as not to missed the good things in life

Good news for all durian lover!!!The durian coil is so delicious! The durian cream outside is covered by 猫山王, this is so great, and you can really taste what is true durian.Inside the cream, there is a coil like sponge cake.Inside the sponge cake, there is D24 durian and you can eat together with the cream outside.Two durian coils only for $10, is worth!!! Strongly recommend for those who love durian.

Durian fans, this is the mooncake for you! Durian mpire has many variation of their durian mooncake. I decided to buy their D24 9 piece mooncake to satisfy my craving for mooncake. The snowskin is not too thick, the filling inside the durian was really good. the durian they use is indeed top quality, the flesh is very creamy. but their mini mooncake is really mini. This is one of my favourite durian cake in town. Although I do not really like its appearance which looks very simple and unattractive, but the taste is well said to be simply sweet and delicious! Durian lover! I went to brought a cake at Durian Mpire. The durian cake was good but the only thing I don't really like is too much whipped cream or royal icing. Thumb up for the fresh rich durian and the soft vanilla sponge. The staffs there was really helpful. There are many other durian dessert like durian roll, pudding, drinks, there are seats available at the store for me to have tea-time there! Overall great place to have tea-time for durian lover!

Real durian in puffy puffs = awesome. I really like these durian puffs because they are small and easy to pop into my mouth, and savour the durian all at one go! The durian is fleshy yet creamery and the puff is soft. The whole puff just melts in your mouth. Must remember to eat it slightly chilled, not overly chilled or else the durian inside would be frozen and hard. A good buy!
