 Ambience at D'zerts Cafe is fun and casual, with bright colours of green, red, pink and white. Furniture is simple but modern, and the clean, brightly lit interior is spacious. The menu is clear and legible, and the quirky pastries displayed in the dessert counter are very attractive. A faint aroma of waffles and baking lingers in the air, while the edible garden outside lends a touch of greenery. Nice place for chilling!

 Service at D'zerts Cafe is casual, but friendly. Staff are quick to seat you and take orders, and are knowledgable enough to make recommendations on popular flavours for ice cream. However, expect to wait a little longer for food, especially during peak periods, as the kitchen takes some time to prepare it.

Food at D'zerts Cafe is simple, but also their weakest point overall. Their desserts are pretty good, especially their waffles and ice cream. However, the finger food here is terrible, poor quality offerings, and should be avoided. Portions are nicely sized for individuals, though sharing of desserts is recommended. Budget about SGD $10 per person for desserts here.

 The crisp outside, soft inside, fluffy Plain Jane Waffle (SGD $7.90) are very good, and worth ordering if you're in the area! The Waffle With Mango Sorbet & Peanut Butter Ice Cream (SGD $13.70) was possibly the best combination we tried, the Mango Sorbet was rich, thick, and fruity, though a tad overly sweet. The Peanut Butter Ice Cream was the best ice cream flavour of the day, rich, creamy, nutty, and thick, excellent! Highly recommend ordering the Peanut Butter Ice Cream!

 An above average Salted Caramel Cheesecake, I thought this was pretty good. The texture of the cheesecake is properly smooth and creamy, with a rich cheese and salted caramel flavour. Balanced in taste, you get both the sweet and salty notes. Good!

Over the weekend, we visited D'zerts Cafe, a quaint little desserts cafe located in Simpang Bedok / Changi area. Seats were bright red, so it gave off a cheery feel.We were served their signature Waffles and Ice-cream (SGD$10.90).  We were served their signature Waffles and Ice-cream (SGD$10.90). The waffles were shades of a healthy golden-brown, crispy on the exterior, and fluffy on the inside. The huge scoops of ice-cream were delightful - we shared and tried everything basically. The better ones were peanut butter, earl grey, salted caramel and chocolate mint. The matcha and black sesame ones were a little light - probably because we were comparing them to the traditional Japanese ones with thicker flavours.

 We also tried the Salted Caramel Cheesecake (SGD$6.00) that consisted of a good balance in its light flavours of savoury-sweet combo. The cottony-soft texture was well balanced by a piece of (biscuit) crisp in between the layers, giving the cake some crunch.

 The Matcha Latte Cake (SGD$5.00) had a good blend of green tea's taste complemented by the stronger jolt of milky-coffee layers; forming a lovely union of deliciousness that melted lusciously in the mouth.

This café is quite out of place but thanks to my good friend, I get to know this great venue to have some slices cakes and have a good chat with good friends here since this place is really peaceful and comfortable. The shop staffs are quite helpful and recommended us their best sellers which are the blueberry cheese cake and the chocolate cake. Blueberry jam is really sweet and fresh, which goes well with the fragrant smooth cream cheese in it. The biscuit crust on the bottom part of the cake

Their chocolate cake will sure be able to win the heart of the chocolate lovers. Super thick chocolate texture goes with not too sweet chocolate sponge cake, simply delicious! Both selling at $5.50 per piece, are really good. We have requested iced water to go along with the cakes, which are complimentary.

Found this little cafe called D'zerts Cafe along a stretch of shophouses in Tanah Merah/Simei area. It was slightly drizzling on a Saturday afternoon and probably that's why I was the only customer when I arrived. The rain later stopped and there were more customers. However it wasn't overcrowded and hence I enjoyed a quiet nice afternoon.The Matcha Latte Cake ($4.50, below) was really good.. the matcha taste was strong and solid.. It's a perfect cake for me as it is actually a mousse cake. Hen

The Matcha Latte Cake ($4.50, below) was really good.. the matcha taste was strong and solid.. It's a perfect cake for me as it is actually a mousse cake. Hence the matcha taste was not overwhelming and the texture is light. loved how the chef topped it with a strawberry which made the cake perfect as the strawberry's sweetness balanced the matcha taste.

 The Yuzu Green Tea Cheesecake ($5.50, below) was very soft and creamy. Could taste a bit of green tea and yuzu which gave the cheesecake a slight citrus taste. Quite an interesting combination and I loved it a lot. But I also wondered how it would taste if there was more yuzu and green tea in it?

 With plenty of power plug points and free wifi, plus a quiet environment, this makes a perfect place if you want to do some studying, get some work done or just chilling out with your ipad/laptop. If you live, work or study nearby, this cafe's worth a visit!

Nice brownies and ham and mushroom quiches. Yums!Totally awesome is the word.The place is clean and child friendly. The service crew is so friendly too. If you really a quiet place to chill out with your friends and have a a good dessert, do visit this place.It is totally awesome.The parking is not a problem and it is free too.A nice place to hang out, anytime....
