Suddenly has the craving for some durian desserts and decided to grab this set of mini durian desserts from this Emicake cake shop.  The shop is clean and neat, but not much choices are available on their display shelving.  The counter lady was not really friendly, infact was quite rude to me as she was quite impatient when I asked questions on the available items displays at their counters.  This durian dessert may look small, but is filled with fresh durian meat in every mouthful of it.  Is with slight bitterness and is thick and creamy, and also not too sweet.  Simply yummy and for $12.50 is quite worth the price.…查看更多

Bought an Longevity Cake to celebrate my grandma's birthday For this design, you can choose from many different kinds of flavors, including Black Forest, Pure Addiction and also its Durian. Price wise for 1kg of cake, it cost around $100. The black forest cake taste quite wonderful, but there's only a layer of cake, most of it are creams. The 2 peaches or 'Shou Tao' on top of the cake are made of sugar icing, abit too sweet though. …查看更多

I got these as a gift, but I think they costs around $2+ for one. These are eggless cakes, but I can't actually taste any difference compared to normal cream cakes. The flavours are strawberry, tiramisu, oreo chocolate, vanilla, chocolate and I think vanilla topped with dark chocolate flakes. I tried the oreo one, and I think it's the best out of the 6, chocolate wasn't too rich and overly sweet, and oreo bits enhanced the taste of the cake. The rest were rather mediocre.…查看更多

Bought a durian cake from Emicakes to celebrate a friend's birthday. Some say its one of the best durian cake in town but I beg to differ. THe cake was creamy, nice, soft and fluffy. However the durian meat in between the layers of cake was very little and I guess durian is a seasonal fruit. The taste of the durian in the cake today was not that good. It was not that fragrant or sweet in anyway. Emicakes is known for their durian flavoured cakes. I was walking past this store on the way home and decided to buy one mini durian delight to try! There were many other flavours as well like the mango, strawberry cheese, blueberry, tiramisu etc and all of them mini cups of desserts looked so cute just sitting on the counter. I enjoyed my mini durian delight which was very creamy and rich! Durian fanatics will definitely love it! I shall try the durian puffs and cakes next time!…查看更多
