Made a reservation before going to the restaurant. The place was not crowded. Selected the booth seat table which overlook the ground floor. Quiet end of the restaurant so a tab difficult to get the attention of the staff. Located at the second level of the shopping centre, there is this western restaurant which opens fairly early at 10.30am, one of the rare restaurants which opens at this timing. What attracts the family to this restaurant is that there is a playground next to the restaurant. It's Friday and everywhere is crowded with queues. As both of us have not tried Empire State, we decide it out. Although the queue is long, but it moves quite fast. As Halloween is coming, the place is decorated in tune with fakes spider webs, spiders, masks.We start our meal with Seafood Chowder ($6.90++). It is quite creamy and full of seafood bits.For mains, we are sharing Empire State BBQ Ribs ($15.90/ Half Slab), served with fries and mesclun salad. The ribs is fork tender and licking good.

I was at Causeway Point shopping and a movie date , so before those , we feast! The place was crowded and noisy. I guess business is good and cos of that the service was slow due to the crowd but they're trying their best. we ordered giant meatball spaghetti , bacon hotdog chips. The giant meatball was huge! it's like a tennis ball coated with meat instead. the taste was flavourful and well cooked. Spaghetti texture was very "Q". Fries was a little cold but still okay.

The seafood pasta here is really delicious and I would only order this dish whenever I visit this restaurant. The pasta noodles is thick and smooth, and also very chewy.
