Had a bowl of fish soup for $3.80. The soup taste was very light, which is suitable for people who are ill. The soup was only slightly oily too. If you prefer strong tasting food, or fish soup that has a richer flavour, I don't think you will like this. There were 5 fish slices and they had a slight fishy taste to it. Fresh lettuce was also added in the soup.

Everytime I went to Clementi Mall Foodcourt, I always saw there was a queue at this fish soup stall. There was also many newspaper article recommendation cuttings pasted at the stall.The ordering was quite direct, just said the menu number of the item with or without milk.When the order arrived, it was steamy hot. So hot I could not even sipped the soup. I had to wait a while for the soup to cool down before eating.The fish soup tasted quite light even when milk was added. I did not like the idea of adding milk in fish soup, I prefer naturally white fish bone soup.There were two types of fish given, one was sliced and other was deep fried. Both the fish tasted fresh. Tomatoes were also added to the soup, but the tomatoes did not add any sour flavour to the light tasting soup.Overall, this fish soup was too light tasting to my liking.

I was quite disappointed with the fish soup as it was not fresh at all and i was quite surprise there is no tofu in my soup. The soup was served hot just that the taste fish soup was not there. It taste more like plain water to me. Although they gave me a lot of slices of fish, i don't really like it. I had dipped with a lot chili before i can swallow down and in the end, i shared with colleagues and asked him to eat more. HAHA! The rice was ok, very soft. The chili was great, maybe that was the only reason for me to continue eating. I paid a total of $4 altogether which i think is reasonable.

Fish soup noodle $3.5I always try to search for nice fish soup noodle but still yet to find one in singapore. The soup still cant satisfy my expectation because i have tried once at KL, malaysia which is really damn nice! Anyway this is consider not bad already as compared to what i had before. The fish slice is fried till golden colour, not too oily and they soaked the soup in it. The soup is not bad, but it would taste nicer if there is preserved vege inside.

Fish been hoon soup is usually one my favourite choice of food whenever I feel like going for a short term diet. The one sold here has that really sweet fragrant soup base with generous amount of evaporated milk in it. The fried fish meat is slightly crispy on the outside and the fish meat is very fresh and no stingy smell in it. The thick bee hoon is smooth and chewy. Really like the slight ginger flavour in the soup which added that little spicyness in it. The portion is quite generous and taste really nice.
