Walking in the botanic garden at 9am, the first thing we were looking for was? Aha, it was breakfast!This was the first restaurant we came across. Had a lovely brunch out here with friends and kids. I had a bangers & mash and it was good! Hub had a pasta with Broccoli and prawn. That was good too! The kids enjoyed their kids meal too with the mini juice pack! Food for Thought gives off a casual, laid-back vibe. It seems to attract a wide range of people - couples, family, friends.I had the Creamy Pesto Chicken and the presentation was simple yet elegant. As with a lot of restaurants these days, its portion was rather small. The linguine was cooked just right, neither hard nor soggy. It went well with the zucchini and the chicken. As it is very creamy, it will satisfy lovers of cream.

Dinner with the buddy at Food For Thought. She's been bugging me for quite some time to dine here cos she's missing the pull pork burgerI had very heavy lunch, so I ordered a potato/bacon salad. Portion is pretty huge with generous serving of sauteed potato and citrus dressing. Buddy's pull pork burger is good. pork is not too dry & tenderMushroom soup is full of ingredients & not too creamy. Will be back for more.

Food For Thought has good ambience and no frills, so it makes a good place for tea. I dropped by to have a cup of cappuccino, which costs around $4.50 for a rather large cup. The cappuccino is very fragrant, and the coffee taste is strong and thick. The accompanying piece of cookie is also good. Staff were also attentive and quick to respond, even though the place was quite full.
