Got a value for money deal for a 5-Course Modern European Meal at around $20.1. Starter - Chilled Angel Hair & Lump Fish Caviar The angel hair pasta tossed with konbu, chives, & white truffle oil and served on a chilled plate. Yummy!2. Soup - Wild Forest Mushroom Soup Top up $1 to upgrade to mushroom soup. Quite nice but a pity that its only a small cup.3. Main Course - Grilled Ribeye Steak Top up $5 for the steak. i went with my sister to friends for lunch the other day. We ordered their 3-course 1 for 1 set meal. It was so cheap, the set meal for both of us cost only $35. I selected their smoked salmon involtini with crab salad. For my main course I chose the oven roasted beef flank with crumbs. The smoked salmon is so good, very fresh. The oven roasted beef flank is an ultimate killer. it was so good. they also served it with roadted potatoes and broccoli.

After reading some reviews, my mother and I decided to pick up one of the coupons from JuzToday.com which was a 74% off 4-course Steaky set meal ($19.90 instead of $76.50). Wow!!! 74% off! Even if the food wasn't great we'll have gotten a good deal!It is just a stone throw away from the popular Holland Village.When I walked in this modern European Food Restaurant, I already knew that it is a nice place for lunch and then the waitress in a smart black attire came up with 2 leather bound menus. It was relatively quiet with soft music in the background.The waitress had served my mother well and she was knowledgeable about what the restaurant was serving and its offers. She attended to all our needs and was very patient when we were deciding what to order.We proceeded to let her know that we were using 2 vouchers and I topped-up $5.00 before GST for ribeye steak.The food was amazing. It was really delicious and truly melted in my mouth.It is serving fine European cuisine in semi-formal setting.Conclusion: My delightful experience at Friends was a pleasant one due to it's quality and presentation of the food served. The place was very cosy and comfortable. Very tasty and enjoyable place. I'll sure go for a 2nd time round with my girlfriend because of the perfectly pleasant waitress.

The ambience is nice & simpleWe ordered the chicken wingsIs like BBQ style & well marinated & cooked & soft& also there's a "chao ta" aromaWe also ordered their pizza with onions & smoky bacon. But the crust on this was a bit odd Is light at first bite, but then it gave way to a residual chewiness. It felt as though they made their own crust & hadn’t let the dough rise enough or something.Overall i rate 5/10
