We are walking around in the mall, when we see the 1-for-1 promotion sign and decide to go in to take a look. The place is quite small with 4 small tables and a side table. It is decorated in white. There is about 20 different flavour of gelato available. We have a hard time choosing after tasting so many flavours. We decide on the single scoop cup which cost $6.70 each for premium flavours. Mom feels that the staff is quite stingy in scooping the ice cream, as the staff keeping weighing the cup while scooping.Bread gelatoIt has a taste that reminds me of the $1 rainbow colored bread from the mobile ice cream man. It tastes quite sweetAvocado Gula Melaka GelatoIt has a creamy and buttery taste. It tastes slightly less sweet.Overall we quite enjoy the gelato.

When I heard that the Ge!ato store at Sembawang Shopping Centre offers Rose Gelato, I just had to give it a try! We went there in the late afternoon and were surprised to learn that there was a 1-for-1 October promotion for the Rose Gelato. At $4.50 for two, it was really quite a steal!The place is quite small with only a few tables for customers to sit and chill, and we only found a place in front of the counter so it got kind of cramped especially when there was a queue. Nevertheless, the place has a very clean and modern vibe to it. If you prefer to have your gelato at the store and take your time savouring it, I'd recommend avoiding seats right in front of the counter.One plus point is there there are a wide variety of flavours to choose from, and everything looks so colourful and ....tempting! I got Tiramisu and Chocolate chips for my rose gelato. I was expecting a slight wait for it given that the lady had to make layers of the petals, but she was deft and swift and I got my rose gelato in no time! It was even quite prettily made!The gelato was very smooth and tasty, although it wasn't as rich as I'd like. I personally preferred the chocolate over the Tiramisu. I think if I have the chance again, I'd like to try the standard gelato in a cup instead of getting the rose gelato with the cone, just so I can savour more of it on its own!

Got this tub of gelato as a gift. The flavours are durian and hazelnut. The durian gelato is extremely rich - the durian taste very overwhelming, great for durian lovers. The hazelnut one serves as a good contrast, as it is smooth and fragrant, a slight milky and nutty taste. There is one thing to note about its packaging though. When I tried to remove the styrofoam cover, it broke and parts of it got stuck to the gelato, as can be seen.
