What better way to end off a meal with dessert! We had the green tea flavoured gelato and avocado gelato ice-cream. As I love both flavours, I did not try them beforehand. Both however seemed to be too sweet to my liking. I was expecting the green tea to be midly bitter but the bitterness was very subtle and the sweetness overpowered any hints of bitterness. The avocado taste was not rich enough and would also be better if it was less sweet. The waffle cone was crispy and had the right level of sweetness for me.

What's good after a tiring walk around the shopping mall? Its Ge!ato time !!This kiosk offers a variety of gelato which is divided into the classic, as well as the premium flavour. It is also having a 1 for 1 promotion for the cup version. I have chosen the classic version which is the salted caramel and the vanilla oreo flavour. For the salted caramel flavour, the sweetness is just nice, not too salty as well. As for the vanilla oreo, it has a light hint of vanilla taste and there were mini bits of oreo in it. Sweetness wise is slightly sweeter than the salted caramel flavour. With the price at $7.50 for 2 medium cups with flavours, it is definitely worth a try !!

I have visited Gelato at Westgate many times. Most of the times their Roses are nice and delicious. The Roses are so pretty and I was so excited and fell in love with this dessert when I discover it. However it would be good to have more flavors for selection or to have occasional new flavors or surprise flavors. The best is to have more colors for the Roses. So far the flavors I love are mostly green or white. Would be great if I can have more vibrant color roses in the flavors that I love Cost: $5 for 2 Roses

The curiosity came when everyone starts walking into the mall with cups of ice cream. It made me wonder if the ice cream was really that good? Just located in front of Isetan at the non air conditioned area, Ge!ato was seen with a long queue due to some promotion going on. However, they were rather efficient and it took me 5 minutes to get served. There wasnt much flavours to choose from perhaps many were already sold out. We had ordered the non premium flavours like Vanilla and Biscotti. These ice creams were rather rich and creamy in taste, not quite sweet. I love its smoothness and especially from the Biscotti, there cookies added a little crunch to the cooling dessert. Likes!Cost: $4.50 (Regular Single Scoop) Per Cup but due to 1 for 1 promotion there were 2 cups.

This outlet is newly opened Gelato kiosk at Westgate. I was there on the 2nd day of opening and the shop was offering one for one promotion. Ge!ato serves a wide range of Gelato flavours. Personally, i find that the taste of the gelato is not too bad but there are quite a few Gelato shops that offers better quality. I tried the Hazelnut and strawberry yogurt. Since it was one for one, i paid only $3.00 for a double classic. There're other premium flavours such as durian, dark chocolate, sorbet and more. Being a fan of hazelnut gelato, i find that their version is just normal as the taste it not that strong. Most gelato places offer hazelnut with hazelnut bits and chunks but Ge!ato doesn't and this made their version slightly plain.
