I simply love the bbq food here. The stingray is so delicious. love the way they grilled the stingray. It still remains so juicy. the sambal is kind of spicy but it goes really well with the stingray. The lala is another killer. very juicy and fresh. Me and my friends decided to go down to the famous Newton food centre after job training one day. It was my first time going and I was really pleased with our supper that day. We ordered a variety of seafood, including: barbequed stingray, gong gong( a type of shellfish) and clams. In addition we also had satay and hokkien mee.Of all the seafood on the table, the dish that surprised me the most was the dish of clams!They were really delicious! They were cooked in spicy sauce which enhanced the taste of the clams. The sauce seemed like those used to cook chilli crabs and it was a unique way to cook the clams in.
