Have call for delivery from this famous Golden Pillow to lunch at home with my family. Delivery items received right after 45mins of my order which is still consider quite fast. Golden Pillow chicken curry bun ($14.90) is really hugh is portion and good to serve at least 3 adults. The bun is full of the butter fragrant. CHicken meats are generous inside the thick and not too spicy curry gravy. Definitely a good buy!However the balance 2 items are not really that tasty. Fried Rice for 1 pax ($5) and Fried Mee Hoon for 1 pax ($5) taste so so only. They are both equally too dry and not much ingredients can be found in it. Portion also too little and presentation looks unattractive. Would only go for the golden pillow bun during next round of my purchase.

We got a golden pillow delivery!No wonder it is called golden pillow, the bread is really huge.Cutting open the bread, it was curry chicken wrapped inside a paper and plastic wrap. I always like to eat curry with bread, so this is really all my favorites get packed into a single 'pillow'. We love the bread, it was so soft and fragrant. You get to enjoy the softness in every bite. The curry was not that spicy, so no worries for those who loves fragrant of the curry but cannot take spicy food. As for the chicken, it was tender and soft, but we felt that the essense and taste of the curry had not penetrated through the meat. Perhaps the chicken was not cooked long enough in the curry gravy.

Tonight sister-in-law decides to order in for dinner. The delivery man arrives at the appointed time 8.30pm.The well known Golden Pillow Curry Chicken Bun is nicely packed in a box with a handle.Golden Pillow Curry Chicken Bun ($14.80)Inside lies a big, piping hot bun.When we cut open, there is the curry chicken wrapped in plastic inside the bun. The bun is very soft and fluffy, but the curry has a rather curry powder taste. Not quite well made and tastes more on the salty side. Fried Rice ($5/S$12/S$20)We also have fried rice in large size, packed in a plastic box. Tastes average but is quite colourful with the vegetables and shrimps.

My mom likes to order the curry chicken bun from Golden Pillow when my family feels lazy to head out. However, throughout the years, I find that their standard is deteriorating. The amount of chicken now is lesser compared to previous years. I like the fluffiness of the loaf but the skin is a little too tough. We also ordered two side dishes! I like the fried pumpkin at first but after having more and more of it, I find it to be not as good as the first few bites. On the other hand, the crispy beancurd tasted better as you eat more of it and I love dipping it in the sweet chilli sauce!

Should be 2 years never order the curry chicken from them. Decide to order to test does the standard drop.Self: Delivery charges unless self collect at the office( 10% discount will be given)The service is good as they will inform you roughly what is the delivery time. It takes roughly 1hr.1hr later... Delivery guy turns up. The Food is hot.The bun- Super softCurry chicken- Chicken is tender & soft. The gravy of the curry is ok but if the gravy is given more and abit spicy will be great.Beehoon- Order a person share was shock it is quite a big packet.Does their standard drop??? Answer: No..
