 And that was exactly what I got. The beef cheek was fork tender and fell apart without much use of the knife.
The grilled fillet was juicy yet tender done medium well. Both pieces of meat were delicious and I alternated between them for satisfaction for my carnivorous appetites on different levels.

At $52++, this didn't come cheap but well worth the price.

Scallop appetitizer

This high end restaurant not only their service is good and the decoration around the restaurant looks beautiful,the food serve here are equally great as well. Happened to tried their signature appetitizer which is the scallop and was immediately fall in love with it. The scallop is really big and thick in a piece and every mouthful of it can really taste the fresh and juicyness of it. Goes really well with the light dressing spread over this dish.

If you would not mine to travel abit far to enjoy a really nice and juicy piece of steak, this one at Gordon Grill will be a very good choice for your meal. The meat is very tender and juicy, although the meat may have almost be fully cooked, you would not feel any parts of the meat to be tough at all. The sauce which they used is really thick, sweet and with a little spicyness in it. Goes really well with the juicy steak.

Great place with good food at reasonable price

This is a memorable dining experience for me because i celebrated our anniversary with my girlfriend here and we had a great time!Ambience:Nice and romantic ambience.The place is quiet and peaceful. Tables are not very close to each other and therefore we can have our private moments with each other. However, the place is lacking a good view outside. I would say its enclosed in a corner and diners can have their own private and romantic moments.Service:Excellent service. The staff are attentive

Ambience:
Nice and romantic ambience.The place is quiet and peaceful. Tables are not very close to each other and therefore we can have our private moments with each other. However, the place is lacking a good view outside. I would say its enclosed in a corner and diners can have their own private and romantic moments.

Service:
Excellent service. The staff are attentive and helpful. The waiting time for the food is very short (around 3 - 7 mins)

Food:
We had a 4 meal course and the food was great. Foie gras is one of their best dishes and we really enjoyed it. Besides that their grilled beef fillet and cod fish was nice.

Overall:
We spent about $200 for two and i would say the price is reasonable for its food, service and ambience. I would give a 8/10 rating and definitely will recommend this place to others who hasn't tried their foie gras before!

so delicious food

My father treated the whole family to Gordon grill restaurant to celebrate his and my mum’s wedding anniversary. I simply love the ambience of this restaurant. It was very nice and cosy, very suitable to dates, wedding proposal. The food is so delicious, I totally love the angel hair pasta with caviar. It is the nicest thing I ever tasted. The caviar is so delicate and when ended with the pasta, it is so refreshing a dish. I totally enjoyed myself!

The set lunch deal at Gordon Grill is quite excellent: 3 or 4 course for $48++ and $58++ respectively, and you get to choose 3 types of starters and soups, somewhat like a mini tasting menu. With the benefit of hindsight, I’ll just get the 3 course without the soups (the three I tried were very diluted) next time. And my favourite starter is actually the marinated king crab, avocado puree and gazpacho sorbet from the child degustation menu (ask for a change!).And because it’s the time-honoured t

And because it’s the time-honoured truffle season, I had an additional order of soft-poached organic hen egg with melted onions and carbonara foam ($18++, supplement of $24++ for 2 grams of truffles)! I’m not certain the combination works well. Cuz of the onions and carbonara foam, this was more sweet than savoury. I say simplicity works best when it comes to truffles.

A generous slab of pan fried barramundi for my main. Always like a fresh fish cooked well =)

Otto has set the benchmark to beat for the perfect crème brulée. Though I’m partial towards anything chestnut, this chestnut and white truffle version ($16++) was too sweet and not as smooth.

Exquisite steakhouse

Gordon Grill is a venerable institution for fine steakhouses and it exudes class all the way. It is located deep inside Goodwood park Hotel, a medium sized restaurant with the feelings of posh upholstery. The service is impeccable as well, with the waiters knowing when to step and when to leave us alone.The food is amazing! It is located deep inside Goodwood park Hotel, a medium sized restaurant with the feelings of posh upholstery. The service is impeccable as well, with the waiters knowing when to step and when to leave us alone.

The food is amazing! I had a starter of the lobster bique, strong and intense with the umami taste of the lobsters, and of course with real chunks of lobster meat. As the main I had the filet mignon, this was perfectly done to my liking and it was rather tasty even for a tenderloin, so credit to the chef on searing and cooking it properly.

This is a serious place for fine dining as you get excellent service and wonderful food!
