Changi Road can be quiet at nights but there's quite a number of food options from day to night as long as you have a convenient mode of transport or live in the area We come here to eat at night quite often. It's nice, quiet and not too crowded. Here, we ordered: Hainanese Pork Chop, Porridge, Braised Pork, Marmite Chicken. The staff are very friendly helpful and patient, they are quite attentive to my refill requests for porridge. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and crisp on the outside paired off nicely with fries and sweet chilli dip sauce. Porridge has sweet potatoes in it and it's refillable for as many you can eat. Braised Pork went really well with the porridge, it's soft and almost melts in the mouth. Marmite chicken is a favourite for me because the sauce and the tenderness of the chicken is sweetly addictive!

I randomly went to dine at Gu Zao Ren Taiwan Seafood Porridge. I ordered the lala, fried chicken and minced meat egg. The minced meat egg is nice with lots of minced meat. The fried chicken is not too oily yet crispy quite addictive and nice to bite with. The lala sauce is quite salty but still acceptable. However, I won't be ordering this dish again as the meat is not quite a lot whereas the shells are in abundance. I will back again to try out other dishes. Overall, pricing is still acceptable.
