It has been quite awhile since I come to this stall. It is a well known stall in the food centre and opens from 7.30am everyday. Each items on the display shelf costs $0.50 each, except for fishball which costs $0.30 each. Although not stated, but it is recommended to select 7 items for minimum order + a choice of noodles or rice. The aunty will also ask you if you wants vegetable for additional $0.50. What is interesting here is the deep fried pig offal. Where can you find pig offal in yong tau fu stall? I have selected 6 items + vegetables + bee hoon. The items are deep fried and topped with deep fried chopped garlic and chopped coriander leaves. The bee hoon and Pak Choi are served in clear soup. It costs $4.00. The soup is flavourful, although it looks quite light. The deep fried items are tasty, especially dipped with the chilli sauce and black sweet sauce. The lotus root with fish paste is crunchy and juicy. The 5 spice meat roll is full of flavours.Overall tasty food. Except for the queue system which is funny. I get number 22. The guy in front of me gets 18. The lady behind me gets 1. No knowns why the aunty can remembers as everyone different numbers. Yet she can remember the customer is which one when no one shows up when she shouts the number and she goes looking for the customer. 繼續閱讀

I would think this is the most popular stall in this food centre. I was there on a Saturday morning. There was quite a crowd in front of this stall waiting to select or to collect their foods. I waited for about 10 minutes in queue to select my pieces of Yong Tau Fu and waited for another 15 minutes for my food to be ready. Some of the must order items are the fried tau kwa and tau pok stuffed with fish paste and minced meat. It is best eaten with their special sweet sauce and chilli. Another personal favourite is the fried intestine and stuffed mushroom. 繼續閱讀

Glad that I could still make it in time just before 12 noon to hit this stall - the items get picked out real fast. In addition to the usual fishcake-stuffed yong tau foo pieces, there are also the minced meat stuffed yong tau foo pieces that are handmade and not pre-ordered from the factory. These are the popular items that are the first to fly off the shelf.I like to order the dry version of the yong tau foo pieces only, which are presented oh so prettily on a plate. A generous serving of chopped coriander and garlic pieces (fried to a nice brown crisp) are decorated over the pieces. I usually order a side bowl of vegetables in soup to balance the meal (so that it will not be too dry in the end). The homemade chili sauce is pretty good, even though it used to be even better last time as it was more fiery-hot. Perhaps they have toned it down for the general public? The chili is now more dilute compared to my previous experiences.Generally, worth a try! By the way, if there are about 7-8 bowls ahead of you, anticipate around a 20 min wait.It cost me $3.90 for 8 ingredients plus the additional side bowl of vegetables in the soup. Depending on what ingredient you choose, it ranges between 40 cents to 60 cents per piece. 繼續閱讀

For the lovers of Hakka Yong Tau Fu, this stall is one of the most famous ones in Singapore. It has been well known for its fresh tasting Hakka style Yong Tau Fu. I usually go on Sunday and the waiting time can be crazy. I got to pick what i want to eat then passed it to the friendly Auntie. She will then issued a number tag and you shall wait for it to be called. You can choose to have these items with noodle or with bee hoon. My most favourite items amongst all has to been the tau kwa / tau pok with fishpaste. It tasted so good when eaten with their special chilli and sweet sauce. 繼續閱讀

Hakka Yong Tau Fu stall at Ghim Moh Hawker Centre #01-14 is very busy during lunch time. The stall sells traditional Hakka Yong Tau Fu pieces. The Yong Tau Fu pieces are fried and can have bean curd, egg, eggplant, pig's intestines, fish ball, yam, and many more. This Yong Tau Fu stall is very nice and have your Yong Tau Fu items with bee hoon or rice. It is their home receipe and their friendly staff that makes people want to come back for more. The food is not expensive and value for money. A bowl of Hakka Yong Tau Fu will costs $2.50-$4 depending on what one orders for their meal. Take note the store normally sells out by 1.30pm. 繼續閱讀
