i da bao the mee hoon kueh home for lunch. The lady will freshly cut whatever noodles you order. She use the machine to cut my mee hoon kueh, so I found it a little thick. However, she cooked it long enough to for the mee hoon kueh to taste very chewy and smooth. The soup is really very tasty, love how the egg floats on the surface of the mee hoon kueh. My stomach was feeling kind of upset so after the trip to the doctor, it went to the coffee shop to da bao some ban mian home. I ordered the dumpling ban mian. The portion turned out to be a lot till I could not finish. The ban mian was a little thick cos I saw the stall holder only run the noodles through the machine once. However she was very generous with the dumpling, there were four dumplings in the noodles. The dumplings were pretty large and the fillings inside was very tasty and juicy. But as usual, the dumpling skin was rather thick as well. the soup was very tasty, not too salty despite the amount of ikan bilis added in it.
