I could not quite remember what was the last time i had a Chicken Pie from Han's. It must be from a long while ago as i do not remember much. I happened to walk past and surprised to find an outlet there. Though i just had lunch but i still have a little space in stomach for snack. I decided to take a Chicken Pie to go. Hans have been around for as long as I can remember. As a child I'd always look forward to getting my birthday cake from there, though that tradition did stop after awhile. Han's cafe is just beside Buona Vista CC and it located at the corner which it's behind is a bus terminal.It is just a few mins walk from my house Blk10 Holland Ave.I like Han's as it is a cozy place to have dinner for me. The small fans and air-cond inside make the environment quite comfortable. Mrupupup just likes to eat. Hans Cafe sure has many types of cakes and pastries for one to eat. Mrupupup could not resist and bought their chicken pie, kaya pandan cake and their peach tart. All the items bought was in Mrupupup's tummy within a few hours! Yummys! Guess Mrupupup loved their pastries. Chicken pie was great with chicken and potatoes, eat it while the pie is warm. I liked this bun that Hans is selling is because the texture of the bun is amazing soft and look at the colour is different from other buns. It is well baked and the colour turned golden brown. And the inside has small bits of apricot dried fruits and a little bit of sweetness in the bun. It really tasted good and i finished the whole pack with my friends on a day out! (:

I can never resist the sausage roll from Hans. I have been eating this for the longest time. Sometimes when i am not too hungry, i will just skip lunch and have the sausage roll with a cup of coffee. The pastry part is light and fluffy with a slight buttery taste and the filling is the minced sausage. The size of the sausage roll is good for snack and for breakfast too.

Hans has always been an old favourite to hangout with family and friends. An usual favourite to order here has always been their grilled chicken chop. I have asked to replace the boiled carrots with additional french fries. The chicken chop has grilled to perfection to give it a nice smoky flavor. It is then served with their special mushroom to further enhance the taste. It is good to eat on its own even without the usual chilli or tomato sauce.

This dessert pie may look pretty simple, but actually it has pretty interesting ingredient contents in it. Other that the large slices of berries topped on it which are sweet and not sour at all, the pastry is with a thin layer of crispy biscuit on the outside and inside is filled with a minimum portion of moist sponge cake in it. The whole combination taste delicious.

Something caught my eyes when I passed by Hans on the way home yesterday."Oooh.. pineapple tarts! So fast.. they are pushing sales for Chinese New Year goodies before X'mas is even here!" I thought.The amiable cashier lady told me that the tarts were new items and that they had a nice pineapple aroma and were very, VERY tasty. The tarts did look pretty decent. Being a pineapple tarts junkie, I just drank in her words like a thirsty camel and ended up buying a pack home to try.What a letdow
