Heaven's Loft (已結業)

Bought a cake using birthday vouchers from Orchard Central (Thank you, Orchard Central~!), for my own birthday!The cake box looks like cheap cardboard. The blackforest cake looks good, and tastes good (but not great). The sponge part of the cake is quite hard and soggy, not soft and fluffy. The cream part of the cake is typical of the usual blackforest cakes, with quite a bit of cherries. I don't really fancy hard cakes (like brownies), so I won't buy it again.

Got some vouchers again from a lucky draw to have the Buffet spread at Heaven's Loft so we visited this place with my brother to have dinner. On tuesday's, Heaven's Loft have a fine spread of buffet for people who just can't have enough. As my GF and I arrived early, we decided toorder everything that was on the menu, at least we tried. After a sumptuous meal at Orchard Central one of the restaurant, I brought my girlfriend to Heaven’s Loft to chill out and enjoy some delicious ben and jerry’s ice cream. We chose the indoor seating, it had a really cosy ambience, the lighting was a little dim. We ordered the mix and match, 3 scoops of ice cream with a waffle. Heaven's loft serve a wide variety of pizzas and pastas to fit different taste buds. The pizza skin is awesome. slick and thin! The escargots come in half a dozen, definitely worth the prize for those who are fan of escargots as well as people who want to try them! I visited the one at somerset orchard central. Nice ambience!

Heaven's Loft uses fresh ingredients and is cooked upon order. Mushroom soup (<$10) is not too creamy or watery. Good for a starter. My favourite!The prawns pasta ($20plus) is sufficient to fill one's tummy - portion is just right. It has less oil, so you won’t feel too guilty about indulging. Taste is fabulous with the right amount of seasoning, the tastebuds would just want more! If you are adventurous, try their specialties - Pan-fried Foie Gras and Oven-baked Escargots.
