It's been a long while since I've had teppanyaki. Especially in Singapore. We grew up having Teppan at Goodwood and surprisingly, my father, who isn't a fan of Japanese food, loves the idea of having his food stir-fried in front of him.In order of how my meal arrived, I had the miso soup and white rice first. While I watched him stir fry my sliced beef. The gravy, although starchy, was savoury and went well with rice. My biggest gripe was that it was not fried with onions, which would have made it so much more fragrant and added a sweetness to the dish. Those white strips were radish strips and some were terribly bitter. The dory fillet was juicy but overly salty. The prawns were nicely fried and I loved the lemon garlic sauce that he poured over the seafood. It really opened up my appetite.Tragically, I got my vegetables last. I wish it could've come first but it didn't seem he was too concerned with the veggie fry ups. This was the sliced beef and seafood set from Deluxe Set A at $13.90.

Boyfriend suggested the teppanyaki at Wisma Atria foodcourt for quite a few times when we were in town. Decided to check out this place, since he said it was good and cheap. Well, cheap maybe - compared to other food in town - but good? Nah.There are different sets to choose from, with beef, lamb, pork or chicken. Both of us chose the value set at $7.90++ which comes with a plate of meat, veggies, rice and miso soup. I had the beef set, while my bf had the lamb set. He commented that the beef was nicer than the lamb, but I thought the lamb tasted pretty good. However, the aftertaste of the lamb was very strong - I'm sure I won't be able to stomach the whole plate of lamb meat. A little was still okay. Anyway, all the items (miso, veggies and meat) were really salty. Big thumbs down.Ordered a cup of lemon barley to share, this costs $2. Please buy your drinks from somewhere else (in Food Republic) before coming hereThis lemon barley is not homemade version (well, I assumed) but it tasted like the packet lemon barley from YEO'S.

Attracted by the great smile of Teppanyaki, we dine here and had chosen the set meal of sliced lamb + veggie + rice + soup (SGD 7.8) that night. I was delighted and impressed by how fresh and juicy the sliced lamb was! It was just in right proportion for each person - not much and not less. Seeing the chef skillfully prepared all the ingredients on teppanyaki and presented nicely to the consumers, it was kinda entertaining as well hopefully will return the other time to give try for beef and chicken as well.

Tried their value lunch set. It comes with a plate of beef, mixed vegetable , a small bowl of miso soup and rice.Though it is a value meal , but the portion of the beef is not small exactly. It is pan fried with garlic and black pepper sauce. The beef is considered tender , not too hard and the sauce is really tasty and goes well with the rice. The vegetables which consist of cabbages and beansprouts is nice too. Crunchy and Fragrant. Overall, for a $7.90 meal, it is reasonably good!
