Was at a Marina Square and right end of one flooring towards city mall saw this Japanese restaurant. The was crowds inside so early 1145hrs. Ordered their signature Ishikari hotpot and Salmon Teriyaki. The hotpot like cold from refrigerator but lucky with a warmer. Possibly to let is boil will be another 10mins. The receipe come with salmon, clams, meat balls, vegetables and sweet corns. The soup is good after heating up and taste sweet and clear soup texture. Like the Salmon fish 2 slice with teriyaki sauce and Miso soup. Served with tenppan style hot plate. Both main dishes also served with a bowl of rice. I found this rice are not original Japanese rice. So too bad. The topping also not there will their famous teriyaki sauce so a little disappointing. 查看更多

My friend and I needed a place to chat for awhile, so we saw signs of free flow appetizers at this quiet japanese restaurant at Marina square. I missed the egg fuyong from NYP canteen so I ordered this, hoping it to be the same, but the egg wasn't as flavourful, probably because it didn't have the sweet sauce like the NYP one has.The rice was quite tasty, but it left me a bit thirsty. Drank quite a bit of soup. The rice and soup is self service. Here are some of the appetizers that you can help yourself. The chawamushi wasn't too bad, the rest weren't really worth the calories. The food wasn't great, but it can be a good chillout spot for those who love chawamushi like me! Free flow!查看更多

Went to the restaurant at about 12pm on saturday, we didnt have to wait to get a table for 2. Every main dish comes with the appetiser buffet which we found yummy and interesting. I especially love the tofu donut, the chawamushi and green tea dessert. It seems that the appetisers will change every quarter as the poster stated that the appetisers are for autumn period, i am personally quite impressed. For the main dish, we had the salmon rice and japanese curry chicken soup. The salmon rice was average only. The japanese curry chicken soup was good and the portion was quite big. It only cost about 33 bucks for 2 for us and i think it is really value of money.查看更多

I've actually heard so much about this place but it seems to have mixed reviews so i never really try to plan any visits to this place. But last night for a friend's birthday, they suggested this place so i finally get to try it after all. Basically you order a main course and it will come with the semi buffet spread which may not have a wide range but some are pretty good and i quite like it. For free flow drinks, just top up $2.99 and you can help yourself to whatever range of drinks they have there. For the mains, we saw these 3 specials and we ordered one each ( Tori Katsuni $12.99 , Hayashi Omelette $14.99 , Saba Teriyaki $13.99 ). Personally i like the Saba since i got craving for fish and this was quite yummy. For the semi buffet, i forgot to try the chawanmushi but i personally like the sweet potato sticks ( not sure what's the sticky sweet coating but can be quite addictive ), this cracker snack which comes with a dip that was in a big pot right next to it and also this cucumber seaweed salad dish which i find it quite refreshing. For the price we paid ($60 for 3 pax), i will definitely come back again as the price is reasonable and i like the range of food.查看更多

Once I have reached the restaurant outside, I was immediate serve by the friendly and cheerful service staff and brought into the restaurant.  Is quite spacious and cooling here.  Furnishings were simple and comfortable.  Bought the Sanma Shioyaki, which is also known as the salt-grilled sanma fish set at merely $13.99, which comes with free flow salad bar.  Fish was fresh and soft in texture, with no stingy smell.  Onion soup, from the buffet bar, was thick and creamy, wasn't too bad. 查看更多
