Having tried their souffle which was good, I decided to come for their pasta. I tried the Hoshino spaghetti with eggplant, bacon, mushrooms, and sausage. This costs around 14 dollars and seems quite expensive, but it is afterall one of Hoshino’s signature dish. The spaghetti was not too bad; it retained its springy texture and was rather flavourful. The portion was also quite generous as I could not finish the whole dish by myself, advised to share among 2 small eaters.

Calling all those with a sweet tooth: Hoshino is a place to go to fix your sugar crush! My friend and I spent a wonderful time at hoshino. The ambience is just great for catching up as the place has a cozy feel! IF you like your coffee strong, you should try their signature dripped coffee. I love their pancakes too! I love the current Plaza Singapura for it's extension of the shopping mall. After much walking around and deliberation, my friends and I settled on Hoshino Coffee after seeing the seemingly long queue and nice display of fake food outside. I was there with the bff and although 4th in the queue, we waited to close to 20 mins to be seated. While in the queue, the server handed us the menu & a order chit. I had the "Hoshino" Spaghetti with Eggplant, Bacon, Shimeriji & Shrimp as my main dish. Bad decision. Not in terms of the taste, but of the portion! The portion is huge! Having been to Hoshino once for their double stack pancake with soft serve ice cream, I wanted to try something else this time round. I ordered the vanilla souffle; it took a while for them to prepare it, but presentation wise, I would think that the double stack pancake wins, same goes for the taste. This souffle is not that fluffy (not too moist as well), and not that impressive.

We decided to try Hoshino for their desserts, heard their souffle/double stack pancake was good. As you can see from the photo it's really quite appetizing. Took about 20 mins for them to prepare it. Topped up a dollar or so for the vanilla soft serve ice cream which was great. You can ask for maple syrup, honey, black sugar, whatever they have to try. Prefer the maple syrup. Portion enough for 4 people.

Tried Hoshino Coffee at Plaza Singapura on a Sunday night and the queue was not as bad as during Friday and Saturday nights. Staff were quite friendly and approachable. However, the price is a little steep and the food is not as good as what I expected. The omu rice with tomato sauce is not recommended as the portion is quite small with only 2 shrimps inside. The carbonara tasted quite nice though. As for desserts, 2 pancake souffles costed $12 and tasted ok.

The french toast is thick and soft. Pan-fried with slight crisp without any trace of oil.
