I went to Hot Tomato with my girlfriend. She ordered her favourite steak; I was not in the mood to eat beef so I opted for the Pork Chop and Sausage Set. It came with an Aglio Olio and salad. The aglio olio was sauteed lightly, the main bout of flavours came from the pork chop and sausage. The sausage was not too large, but it was really juicy and tasty. The pork chop was surprisingly tender and it was grilled perfectly. I liked the sauce they provided, it went really well with the pork chop.

i really like it that Hot Tomato does not charge really high prices for their steak. I decided to order their steak and prawn combination. it came with a portion of salad and spaghetti. the prawn shells were sliced open so it was really easy to eat the prawn meat. the steak was very tender and juicy. i like the dressing of the salad, it was not too heavy. i like the sauce they provided, enhanced the flavour of the meat.

The spaghetti was well cooked and quite Q and nice...I am not sure if they cooked the noodles with olive oil and the texture was smooth. the steak was pretty well done and the portion was great...The Mix Grill portion was pretty generousThe portion for these 2 are big, we ate finish... It doesnt looks and sounds promising. But i'm happy i gave it a try...Overall, I think the food here fetches very affordable and justifiable price...

I was not in the mood for eating any spaghetti so i got myself the fried calamari and fries. i like their fries, very thick and crispy. one thing about their fries is that it is not too salty, apparently it seems like they did not season it with salt, so i guess it is much healthier. the calamari is really good too. it was not overcooked, when calamari gets over cooked, it tends to be very tough, but at Hot Tomato, their calamari is very chewy and tender. it was very juicy. Had dinner with two of my best friends at Hot tomato on a Monday night at around 7plus. Which was the peak period but the queue was ok, we were given a menu to decide on what we would like to have before we get a seat. which I think was good, it helps to cut down the waiting time. The food were served fast and the staff were friendly. The staff are very friendly and we got a seat without much waiting (consider lucky for us as I saw people queuing up soon after we got our seats). i like the steak and aglio olio from hot tomato. The steak that they used is really premium. However because there is a spaghetti main course so the portion of the steak is cut down to a smaller piece. The steak is cooked perfectly to my request. It is very tender and juicy, not like some places where the steak is hard and rubbery. The spaghetti is seasoned perfectly, goes well with the steak.

Go Hot tomato must try their tomato soup.It is their "signature" dish.It is abit creamy and nice.The sour taste is good too.And i can taste that they add lots of real tomato inside.The garlic baked bread is nice too.But because of the strong garlic smell,i more prefer to eat it seperately from the tomato soup.The ice lemon tea is simple and fresh.But it is abit bitter.So squeeze more the lemon make the tea taste better
