Almost everyone love to eat western cuisine around me, but it was hard to find an authentic with affordable price. I accidentally discovered Hungry Jack was quite up to standard during an impromptu visit. There was no much people upon we arrived, the waiting time was thus not too lengthy. Crispy irresistible fillet from oven, freshness was the selling point. Homemade Tartar sauce was served along, perfectly matched with thick cut of deep-fried fish. Flesh was soft and smooth in texture, rice flour on the other hand added crunch on outlay. Toothsome thin fries accompanied, lettuce played its part as a lovely dressing. Portion was sufficient, my dinner was priced at $6.90.

Grilled chicken with carbonara pasta!I loved creamy based pasta, even though it is fattening!The grilled chicken was filled with a lot of black pepper...not juicy enough and was kind of dry for the chicken meat itself The pasta became dried when I started to eat at home.There are mushroom in the pasta too! Overall, I should say the standard of their food has drop !

The western food in this stall is just so popular with the people. Every time I order from them, I have to wait some time for my food to be served. This time I da bao their fried fish with cream sauce. Waited for some time for my food to be prepared. When it was done, the store owner handed me the box, apparently the locking part of the Styrofoam box broke and most of the sauce had spilled out. I handed the box to the owner to ask him to pack it back properly. He took the box from me and ask if I dropped it, the thing was I just took it from him and it was so poorly packed. It took them so long to just put a rubber band over the box. I thought they were nice to add more sauce since most of the sauce had spilled out, but they didn’t! they just emptied away the sauce in the plastic bag and put the food in the same plastic bag. Imagine how OILY the plastic bag was. The entire meal was so upsetting, the spaghetti had little sauce and was so dry and topped with the even dryer fried fish. Such BAD service, took no care in ensuring that the food was packed properly and even said I dropped the box when he just handed me. dun think I will buy from them again.

Met a friend at yew tee point for lunch, ordered the western food from hungry jack. The portion was pretty huge. I ordered the black pepper grilled chicken chop. They were very generous with their black pepper sauce, it turned out a little spicy. The chicken was grilled perfectly, very tender and when you cut into it, the juice ooze out, shows how juicy it is. There were some carrots and broccoli served together, I didn’t like that though, cos it was a little dry and hard and had some raw taste. But the fries was pretty good, very crispy and went well with the black pepper sauce. It was very filling.

I chanced upon this stall at Koufu Yew Tee Point. There was a long queue, so i assume it is quite nice so i tried as well. I must that it's really value for money. The portion is quite big and everything is below $10.00 (even the sirloin steak) However, do not expect restaurant quality. It is just a place you can feed yourself because you are hungry but not because you are looking for a good steak so don't have high expectations. The sirloin steak was alright but a bit undercook for medium well. The servings for their fries and garlic bread was a lot though and i like that the garlic bread are freshly toasted. The mushroom soup looks homemade and tastes pretty good as well.
