I love the Swedish Meatballs at Ikea. While they no longer are in the shape of a ball, but more like a square, the taste is still as good as before. I believe what makes it so good, is actually the brown sauce it is topped with. Some people like it with the jam but I personally feel that the sweet taste spoils the food. Visited the Ikea Cafe at Alexandra Branch for breakfast. It was the cheapest that I ever had. I ordered the mee sian at $1.90. The gravy was spicy and fresh lime is served. It comes with half size boiled egg. The vermicle is substantial but the soup is not boiling hot. When I had a finger good and cinamon bread with hot black coffee. The environment was excellent as children can run around safety and parents can enjoy the meal in peace.

Decided to try their cakes as it looked appetising and visually stunning! Ordered a slice of almond cake and dark chocolate cake. Almond cake ($3.50)This almond cake is layered with cream, covered with chocolate and butterscotch bits. Ikea have a wide range of food and desserts! Decided to try their princess cake ($3) which looked very cute and appealing! Visually, it looked stunning. Its an airy cake on a sponge cake base, filled with raspberry jam, whipped cream and vanilla custard. However, i found it abit too sweet for me as they seem to put a lot of sugar in it. Perhaps this princess cake will be more suitable for little kids!

Every time after shopping at Ikea, I will definitely visit their restaurant to settle my meal, as they provide a wide range of food. The swedish meat ball is a must to order and the cranberry sauce makes this dish so perfect. Next, chicken wings is my favourite as well, as it is crispy and tasty. However, the poached salmon taste normal to me, but lucky the sauce save this dish as it was thick and creamy. Although Ikea specialise in furniture, but their food was good too.

Other than the famous meatballs sold at Ikea restaurant, there are also some gourmet menu up which is being refreshed every now and then. so I chose to ordered the roasted chicken leg with barbecue sauce over their baked salmon as I wanted something more filling. the dish comes with a huge chicken leg, some fries and frozen veggies. I like the barbecue sauce as it brings flavor to the chicken leg with its sweetness. the fries is those normal supermarket packet curly fries thus nothing to rave
