There was really quite a lot of foodstuff here, from potato chips to chocolate bars to biscuits and even frozen food like Rosti. I've always liked the cakes from the Ikea Cafe, such as the Dark Chocolate Cake and Almond Cake with Chocolate & Butterscotch. So when I saw they were also selling the frozen cakes here, I knew I just had to get one to bring home!Dark Chocolate Cake ($8.90)This was a gluten-free almond based cake covered with dark chocolate cream, and topped with cocoa nibs. This was quite crunchy and not too sweet although it felt a little dry, especially if not thawed completely. I can't really remember the exact price but this was about $8.90 for a small, frozen round cake which can be cut into 6 to 8 slices. This would meant that each slice would cost about $1.10 or $1.50. Certainly cheaper than the ones sold at the cafe, but I personally thought a slice of those from the cafe seem to be bigger. Nevertheless, this was good to get if you want to enjoy Ikea's desserts from the comfort of your own home. A 1/8 slicexygenated Water ($1.00)I got this only because I liked the bottle it came in LOL. This tasted like mineral water and was only $1.00 which was reasonable. In fact, many of the food at this snack shop are really reasonably priced. I'd have love to browse longer and get more stuff if not for the fact that we were pressed for time to go elsewhere. I'll definitely be back again for more!

The best dessert after a meal in ikea is their soft serve ice cream. The whole process is quite fun actually; you pay to have a cone and token, and you place the ice cream on the machine. After inserting the token, the machine will dispense the ice cream. For 50 cents, it's really a good deal, and the ice cream tastes better than the one from macs. It could be more milky though.

Bought an ice-cream at Ikea Snack Shop. How can anyone resist?! Joy is so cheap here, at only 50cents! There is usually quite a long queue, but not to worry, it moves really fast. After paying for your ice-cream at the counter, you will be given an empty cone and an Ikea Food Coin: It's thicker than the normal 10cents coin so.. don't try to fool them haha. Pop it into the machine and then put your cone in the designated area and it will fill it up for you!The ice-cream is called 'Soft Ice-Cream' and really, soft. It's only a bit harder than foam. Haha. The flavour is milk, not vanilla. It is really enjoyable, and you MUST get it when you come to Ikea. I don't think you will forget about it because almost everyone is carrying one ice-cream cone all around Ikea!

Most of the children love ice-cream. This is good news for them to do their own ice-cream cone through the automated ice-cream machine. They really love to process it themself and find very fun and enjoy licking up the ice cream, I love to see their faces full of Joy and satisfactory. Very good ideas! Smart! The vanilla ice-cream is still silky smooth and delicious under the hands of the machine. It takes less than 5 seconds to process it, I think so! The waffle cone that holds the ice-cream is clean and crunchy. It cost only $0.50. There is always a long queue in peak hour, during the weekend.

I ordered IKEA’s soft serve ice cream (50 cents). First you have to join the snack shop queue to pay for the ice cream, after which you will be issued a token and an ice cream cone. You then proceed to the ice cream dispenser, place the cone and insert the token, and the machine will automatically dispense a perfect ice cream cone. This machine definitely increases the work productivity here! The ice cream was decent, it had a nice milky and creamy flavor and was really a cheap and satisfying dessert- albeit having to brave the crowds on a packed Saturday night.
