Imperial Treasure Bakery (已結業)

I thought I stumbled upon my favorite egg tarts in Singapore when I tried Tong Heng's egg tarts, but I was wrong. My new to-go place for egg tarts is none other than Imperial Treasure Bakery, conveniently located at 111@Somerset in Orchard.imperial treasure's egg tart!The egg tarts here combine smooth and creamy custard with an impeccably buttery, melt-in-your-mouth shortbread crust. Thought pay a visit to this bakery as I have never been there and since I'm heading to NTUC Finest to get some groceries. Browsed around and didn't find anything that was unusual or interesting so settled for the ordinary pastries from a chinese/dim sim bakery, which is the egg tart and the char siew soh(baked roasted pork puff). I do like them whenever I go for their dim sums at their restaurant, and thought these two won't go wrong. The egg tart's pastry not the flaky kind but those 'biscuit'

Pastries and cakes here taste alright, but pls try to eat it soon and do not keep too long after purchase as the quality doesn't stay long. My verdict: 6.5/10
