This lobster bisque soup is a sophisticated starter and served with a piece of toasted garlic bread.We could taste the burnt lobster where the shells are sautéed in butter to release the flavours. The table next to me was complaining on their service whole night long, which was kind of irritating to me... I just wanted to have a quiet and peaceful evening with my family. But I do have to agree with her with some points that she pointed out as the service was really quite bad that day . I waited at the entrance for nearly half an hour for the seat but was actually told that the waiting time was around 10-15 minutes. It didn't really bother me as I was resting my leg after a day of shopping.The serving staffs were much friendlier , as least he took my order with a smile. It has been quite a while since I visited Jack's place. I think almost 10 YRS! The food seemed really normal to me and I do think that they should introduce some premium cut which matches the price. There are too many other restaurant which offer value to money steak at a similar price that I pay here. And worst of all was the soup, it does taste like it has been taking out from the can...nothing special.…查看更多

I came here for lunch with my girlfriend as I was here to make the facial treatment at Asian Skin Solution (#01-70 Parkway Parade) during lunch time.The ambience was fine and well lighted, but the tables were arranged too closed to one another.We ordered the daily set lunch for Saturday which was as follows: -SaturdayThe garlic bread was alright.Soup of the DAYMain Course......$11.30Grilled Fillet of Fish with Onion & Ginger SauceMain Course......$12.50Sirloin Steak with Deep Fried Calamari RingsCoffee for me and tea for her.Traditional Place, Traditional Service wise was rather slow as well, perhaps due to the big crowd.Generally, you can come on here to dine if you do not set high expectations of the food and of course don't mind your conversation to be overheard by diners sitting next to you!Conclusion: Cheap and nice steak with a homely familiar feeling.Jack's Place is where I can go to recommend for all my friends.…查看更多
