saw my friend post on facebook and so decide to go try out the Korean bbq here since its quite near where I am staying. They have a special promotion of 20% off if you dine between 5.30pm to 7pm. The range of food here is quite a lot, personally I prefer their marinated pork belly while my family preferred the non marinated pork belly, they also have cooked food station too. With all the fuss over 2D1N, we decided to skip that and try something else when we had cravings for Korean BBQ. This place is hidden away in Teck Whye Terraces at Serangoon with lots of other food shops. The overall experience is great. The marinated meat was well marinated. The beef bulgogi was sweet and juicy. Pork belly was also very well done and I liked the special kimchi paste.

At $15.90++ for lunch, Goki Day is one of the cheaper korean bbq restaurants around. There wasn't much of a crowd on a weekday, but it's better to reserve in advance for dinner where there is a bigger crowd. Variety of food offered is alright: prawns, pork belly, chicken, kimchi pancake, crabstick, sausages, etc, enough to keep you occupied for a long time. Staff were very friendly and helpful, will check your grill every now and then. Overall a pleasant kbbq place which isn't too oily.
