Brought a six pieces of the chwee kway for extra dish for dinner. The chwee kway is actually similiar to other chwee kway stall which has a soft and smooth texture, taste wise has a bland texture. Although the colour of the caipok at this outlet is slightly darker than usual one elsewhere, dont let the dark colour turn you off, as this is really one of the best i have tried.The caipok is unbelievably crispy, i have never tried crispy caipok.The usual ones i had are mostly soggy, but this one provides you with a nice bite. One of the best Chwee Kuay in SG. Located at a corner in the kopitiam, many may miss but this is one of the many stalls that no one should miss.Comes in 4, 6 or 8 pcs, I always frequent there whenever I passes-by and want supper for myself and family.It is smooth and has fragrant toppings, but the secret lies in the SAMBAL CHILLI!! You got to ask for more chilli even though they sometimes may end up giving you lesser(dep on their mood).
